The Prep Girls Hoops Florida Top 250 Expo took place this past weekend, we break down the performances from the players on team two.
Zion McRae Zion McRae 5'4" | SG The Villages | 2025 State FL 5’4 Guard (The Villages / Tre Mann Elite) – Class of 2025
McCrae showed her ability to let it fly from deep by knocking down 3s early. She is a combo guard that has deep range and is a high-volume shooter. She was one of the most aggressive players on offensive end of the floor, attacking off the bounce, getting to the paint and to the rim and looking for her shot every time she got a touch. She does a good job squaring to the rim and is very explosive off the bounce, using hesitation move often to get defenders to rise and get to rim.
Hallie Stokes Hallie Stokes 5'9" | SG Windermere Preparatory | 2025 FL 5’9 Guard (Windermere Prep / OBC) – Class of 2025
Stokes is a combo guard who has a well-rounded offensive skill set putting it to the floor and showcasing her outside shooting ability.
Jessica Carreras Jessica Carreras 5'9" | SF Southwest Miami Senior | 2024 FL 5’9 Guard (SW Miami Sr HS) – Class of 2024
Carrera is a lefty guard that plays best off the ball. She uses change of speed and change of direction when putting the ball to the floor.
Alaysha Williams Alaysha Williams 5'6" | SG Ed White | 2025 State FL 5’6 Guard (Edward H White / Julian Wood Academy) – Class of 2025
Williams played very aggressive and showcased her strength and power from the perimeter. She wants to play up tempo and push the tempo by attacking baseline to baseline. Without the ball in her hands, she runs the floor hard, often getting easy buckets by outhustling her opponents. As a perimeter player, she goes to boards consistently and rebounds the ball well. Williams was very aggressive in game # 2 and did great job getting into the paint, going right both to score and create shots for her teammates.
Allyson Cunningham Allyson Cunningham 5'7" | SG Horizon | 2024 State FL 5’7 Guard (Horizon / Infinity Basketball) – Class of 2024
Cunningham is a long, lanky wing / forward who is a bit uncoordinated. She gives good effort and does a good job keeping her opponent in front of her and out of the paint on the defensive end.
Delaney Cronin Delaney Cronin 6'2" | C Boca Raton Christian | 2025 FL 6’2 Forward (Boca Raton Christian School / BD Thunder) – Class of 2025
Cronin is a long post that is still growing into her body. As a post, she is learning to move and run the floor efficiently. Her length and wingspan are impactful, but she needs to play tougher and more aggressive in the paint to compete in a showcase such as this.
Maleeya Brammer Maleeya Brammer 6'1" | PF Gulf Breeze | 2026 State FL 6’1 Wing / Forward (Gulf Breeze / Alabama Southern Starz) – Class of 2026
Brammer was very effective when she got the ball in her hands and had an opportunity to score with her back to the basket as well as face up. She is a skilled offensive player that can play inside and out. In a basketball era where low post play is becoming extinct, it was refreshing to watch Brammer fight for low post position and showcase moves with her back to basket, finishing left and right.
Piper Ashley and Priyanka Alibhai Priyanka Alibhai 5'9" | SG Palmer Trinity | 2024 State FL did not participate in the event.
