For context, the 2024 guard led the team in two-point field goal attempts and free throw attempts. Active attacking a closeout while the defense rotates over, Minihane picks her spots to attack through the defense. Showing value reading the defense following a ball screen, the guard is a prevalent downhill scoring threat, requiring strict help defense versus drives. Although effective finishing with either hand through contests, the guard is far from just a downhill scorer. Showing upside of stretching the floor out behind the arc, Minihane is most active on spot-up attempts. Defensively, her wide reach allows her to defend multiple positions, especially active defending drives.
Blakesley is an intriguing jack of all trades guard, impacting the game in so many areas. Previously atop a variety of Lewis-Palmer stat leaders, the guard was previously second in rebounds (6), as well first in assists (4) and steals (2.4) per game. Doing a great job of making the extra pass once help leaves a teammate, Blakesley repeatedly shows value as a halfcourt decision maker. Another area of production has been the guard’s willingness to get after loose balls. Proactive immediately, Blakesley wastes no time scrambling to regain possession. Weimer is a high energy perimeter defender who is especially active in instigating opposing ball handles. Doing an excellent job of consistently getting a hand into the opponent’s space, Weimer does a great job taking away space and pressuring the opponents Through the guard’s previous season with Pueblo County, she put up 8.3 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.

Ruzich shows upside facilitating with the ball, capable of utilizing behind the back or crossover dribble moves to create space on drives. Active keeping eyes up for passing opportunities, the guard is consistent searching for the corner shooter in halfcourt possessions. Her continued growth with the jump shot will be an area to track. Through Ruzich’s previous season at Pueblo County, the 2024 guard put up 4.7 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists per game.
Huxtable has shown prowess while handling the ball, effective as a shotmaker or facilitator. Drawing gravity due to her refined jumper, the guard is an especially effective perimeter playmaker. She may even use her gravity to create passing opportunities for rollers, setting them up with easy attempts.
Kutz is an efficient guard, getting to her spots with urgency to make a decision. Capable of knocking down shot attempts off the catch, the guard brings a well rounded game. Equally effective attacking the basket for putbacks, the guard has consistently worked for second chance opportunities.
