Warden has had a good run in class 2B as of late. They won the state title two years ago and finished 3rd last year. McKenna already has varsity experience playing as an 8th grader. With 2B player of the year watch-list Lauryn Madsen Lauryn Madsen 5’11” | CG Warden | 2024 State WA back on the perimeter, Klitskie could hold down a bigger role this year on a 2B contender. She was great in the Freshman Showcase in Bellevue this summer. She was tough in the post with great footwork and ability to finish around the basket. She stood out as one of the best true post players there as an all tournament selection.
Stepping into a great situation at Lynden this season. They return a host of players and should be in contention come March. Parcher is a player with good length on the perimeter. She is a good athlete with versatility who can be a scorer, facilitate on the break, and finish her own. She is one of the more skilled players in the class of 2027.
Kawehi is a rugged post player with good size to battle right away at the varsity level. She is not all rugged, she is skilled with post player footwork and ability to finish plays in the lane. She can be a grab and go rebounder capable of starting the break. She will be playing with some great guards in the likes of sophomore Olivia Collins Olivia Collins 5’9″ | CG Sumner | 2026 State WA and senior point guard Lainee Houillon Lainee Houillon 5’7″ | PG Sumner | 2024 State WA . Borden will provide toughness in the post which makes Sumner even more of a contender in 2024.
Kylie has the strength and athleticism to come right in make an impact this season. She is a fiercely determined player when she gets going. Especially downhill, where she excels at getting past the defense with speed and agility. She is capable of scoring from all levels with some touch on the jumper as well.
A prospect to keep an eye on here. She has a huge ceiling with her length and physical tools. She will be getting shots off the block and in the paint but she has some talent on the perimeter that will be interesting to see develop. With that kind of length, it’s rare to see the skills of a crafty type small forward. She has that potential.
