Hardy is an elite player on a national scale and it was easy to see why. She was dominant in many different ways on Sunday. Let’s start with her defense. Hardy used her length well both challenging and blocking shots. She played high quality and comfortable lateral defense and showed quick hands and an eye for the ball helping her knock it loose from her opponents. Offensively, Hardy drew a ton of fouls and was active and athletic around the rim.

Daniel definitely caught my eye at HYPE Dearborn on Sunday. It wasn’t about the stats with her. Daniel’s team faced a tough task against a powerful Renaissance team, but the talent was there with this young lady. She had the look of an athletic lead guard that the coaches trusted to be the primary ball handler. Daniel was able to turn the corner on defenders off the bounce and has the ability to make plays from there.
Williams was more than solid at the GFL/BFL at HYPE. She showed a nice combination of strength and athleticism that made her a very tough matchup. Williams has the potential to have a top notch mid range game. She worked left to right through the lane and created scoring opportunities when doing so. Williams showed good court vision and ability to pass off the high post. She was active on the boards as well.

Parks definitely caught my eye at HYPE on Sunday. She showed some very useful power around the rim at the event. Parks played with passion and physicality that was impressive. She showed off a nice power move off the block with a spin and a finish over her right shoulder. Parks later proved that she could actually finish over both shoulders later in the game.

Wright really showed off her game at the fall ball event. She had a huge 2nd half in the game I watched and showed some impressive versatility. Wright is listed as a power forward and she can play that position well, but she can be an impact player on the wing and on the perimeter. She scored at multiple levels over the course of the game and was very comfortable working off the high post. Wright thought the game well and found open spots offensively.
