Ella peper, Class 2028, HT 6’3, Position G/SF
Ella is only in the 8th grade, but she has a ton of upside to her game. She is on the track to be a high major division 1 college prospect. She is already getting attention from many coaches and scouts. She is a versatile 6’3 players. She has a really good combination of size and skill. She has good length, and can run the floor like a Guard. She is a knock down shooter, and can really stretch the floor. She can play on the perimeter, or be almost as effective in the post. Her basketball IQ is well above her age level. She knows when to find the cutters, when to take it her self, and when to look to the other wing. On defense she can defend Guards just as well as Centers.
Mariana Padilla Mariana Padilla 5'5" | CG Dexter Southfield | 2024 State NewE , Class 2024, Position PG, HT 5’6,
Mariana is a crafty Guard. She is an uncommitted 2024 prospect coaches should know. She looks comfortable running the teams offense as the point Guard. She is strong with the ball, has a high basketball IQ, and can stop on a dime. She is aggressive, and likes to push the ball up the floor. Despite not being the biggest player on the floor, she still manages to get in the paint. She uses her change of speed, and hesitation moves to get by the defender. She can shoot off the dribble and finish at the rim. She also does a good job passing to the open wing when the help defense collapses in the lane. On defense Mariana likes to put pressure on the ball handlers, and is a pesky defender. What ever college level Mariana plays at, she will help the program.
Orlagh Gormley Orlagh Gormley 5'6" | PG Dexter Southfield | 2024 State NewE , Class 2024, HT 5’6, Position PG
Gormley is a high level Point Guard. She is a three level scorer, and has the skills to control the game and score in bunches. She has high level playmaking and finishing skills at the rim. She has a variety of finishing moves, and can score over much bigger defenders. She is very quick and is tough to stay in front of. She also makes a bunch of tough passes in tight windows. Defensively she is very good defending on and away from the ball. She is good at staying between her player and the ball, and she has good lateral quickness. ALL this is why Gormley is committed to play at providence next season.
Jenava Egan Jenava Egan 6'0" | SG Dexter Southfield | 2026 State NewE , Class 2026, Position SG/SF, HT 6’0
Egan is a versatile 6 footer. She is a pass first player, that uses her size to pass over the top of the defense. She makes good reads, and also does a good job finding the miss matches. She had a strong Freshman season at Dexter, and I expect that to continue in her Sophomore year. She can shoot from the outside, and has a good shot selection. When she passes, she does a good job replacing and cutting to the open spot. She moves well for her size, and has a high basketball IQ. Egan makes players around her better.
Ella Andrews Ella Andrews 6'0" | PF Dexter Southfield | 2025 State NewE , HT 6’0, Position PF, Class 2025
Ella is a versatile tough stretch 4. She fit in well last year with the team at Dexter. She is a very good weakside defender, and is quick with her defensive rotations. On offense she can play outside and in. She is physical with other big’s down low. She can run the floor, shoot the three, and attack off the dribble. I expect Ella to keep rasing her stock this winter.
