This season, something special is happening on Bell Rd. There is a feeling in the air over there. Ezell-Harding, a school I admired when I was a youngster, will be looking to take the division/region by storm. This group is going to be fun to watch. Put it this way, they will be difficult to play. They play hungry, they play fast, they play fierce. These girls have relentless energy where they will speed up the competition into committing turnovers. Credit the defensive approach, these girls are coached up and will be sound in all phases of the game.
Led by Coach Reynolds and staff, you better believe these girls are going to be fundamentally sound and disciplined. They are going to wear you down and make your life a living (insert word of your choice). Blessed with athleticism, this group is going to bring organized pressure. What do I mean by that? Maybe man, may be zone, may be a mix. Who knows. It will change game by game with them and just know there is a defensive mastermind behind the approach. Last year, the girls finished 23-6 overall and were 11-3 in the district. Now in year two, these girls have a better understanding of how Coach Reynolds wants to play.
My projection is that these girls are going to come out of the gate running. They will be tested early but have the mindset to withstand adversity that may come their way. Their goal is to compete and play for something big in March. They have to roster to do so, they just got to continue to work hard and believe. Everything is in place for them to make some noise this year. The foundation has been laid, now it’s just about executing the plan. Fly Eagles fly. Have fun and enjoy.
Here are some prospects from the Ezell-Harding Lady Eagles ball club.
Brilee Price Brilee Price 5'7" | SF Peabody | 2026 State TN (5’10/So./G)- Quick is all get out, she uses her speed to create chaos on both ends of the floor. A multi-level scoring threat, she has amazing ability to slash through defenses and get down hill. Has a nice mid-range game, but her ability to attack the rim is incredible. Her length allows her to be a nuisance on the defensive end. Getting steals, tipped balls, congesting the passing lanes, it’s all a part of her game. Her D turns into her O and that’s the way you want to GO! Tough kid who has an extremely bright future.
Reghan Williams Reghan Williams 5'6" | PG Ezell-Harding | 2025 State TN (5’7/Jr./CG)- Speedy dual sport athlete. She’s a lefty and has a sweet release from the perimeter. A 3 level scoring threat that has amazing court vision. She can take to the rack, pull up for a mid-range J, be utilized in the screen game, and of course launch it from the perimeter. She’s a lockdown defender who can sit down and guard, pressuring the ball the full length of the floor. Selfless player who is looking to do whatever it takes to help her team win. A kid who isn’t afraid to step up in crucial moments.
Madison McNeal Madison McNeal 5'4" | PG Ezell-Harding | 2024 TN (5’3/Sr./PG)- Heady floor general who likes to push the ball in transition. Sees the floor well, threads the needle on passes. She’s a go-getter, a fighter who likes to mix it up. Can attack down hill or shoot from the field consistently. She gets after it on D, getting steals and loose balls. Will look to go out with a bang her senior season. Great kid who has an incredible work ethic.

(6’1/Fr./F)– Blessed with size, she looks to come in and contribute right away. Runs the floor well, grabs boards, she will be utilized both on the perimeter and inside. Has a nice shot on her, but once she gets comfortable in her role, look for her to make a big impact. A shot blocker on the defensive end, she will anchor the paint for the Lady Eagles. Can shoot consistently from the 3, but will make her money in the short corner and the elbow areas. Great prospect with a bright future.
