Prep Girls Hoops Missouri ventured to Overland Park, KS last Sunday to watch the MoKan College Showcase. Here is a look at the top Class of 2027 guards/wings at the event.

Baylor Brownsberger (Appleton City): A 5’5 point guard with a good feel for the game. She was very good at penetrating in the lane where she could score on a runner or set up a teammate for a bucket. She can blow by a defender or beat them with a nice hesi move. She was also hitting 3-pointers. She has a chance to be to be a real impact player in Class 1.

Brielle Mays Brielle Mays 5'8" | PG Staley | 2027 MO (Staley): A 5’8 guard who was very impressive with her high motor at both ends of the court. The young lefty attacks the basket well and she puts constant pressure on the defense. She is very adept at scoring in the lane. She is also an unselfish passer. She rebounds very well from the guard position.

Elecea Norman (Liberty): A 5’5 guard who was very impressive at both ends at the court with her speed and quickness. She had a quick first step for slashing drive in the lane and she could dial it up from 3-point range. She also passed it very well. She hit three triples in a row in one stretch. She was good on defense and very effective on traps.

Charlie Baity (Notre Dame de Sion): A 5’9 guard who has good athleticism who has a good burst to attack and score on nice takes in the lane. She handles the ball well and she can pass the ball. She can also hit the 3-pointer. She is also aggressive on the defensive end.

Sydney Blaine Sydney Blaine 5'9" | SG Notre Dame De Sion | 2027 MO (Notre Dame de Sion): A 5’9 guard who has good size and speed and was getting into the passing lanes on the defensive end. She handles the ball well and she has a solid looking shot from 3-point range.
