Holly Woods Holly Woods 5'4" | PG Pembroke Hill | 2024 State MO (Pembroke Hill): The 5’4″ point guard was lighting up the scoreboard with her quickness and ability to get buckets at all three levels. She was breaking down defenders with cross-over moves and other escape dribbles to create her own shot. She was also knocking down numerous 3-pointers. When she wasn’t scoring, she was dropping some nice dimes with her excellent court vision. Ms. Holly has been a bucket throughout her career at Pembroke Hill.
Kodi Greer (Basehor-Linwood): A 5’7″ point guard who has good fundamentals to go along with her ability to score. She drives the ball well and she is a very good finisher in the lane, especially when she scores on her left-handed scoop shot. She plays with excellent pace as she was always looking to push the ball. She was able to knock down a few 3-pointers in transition.
Katie Mitchell (Blue Valley NW): A 5’11” forward who has solid fundamentals across the board. She can rebound and throw a nice outlet pass upcourt. She makes good use of shot fakes to score inside or open her her drives. She moves well without the ball to the open spot to make perimeter shots.
Paige Cheffey (Shawnee Mission NW): A 6’0″ forward who has already given a commitment to St. Ambrose University. The one thing that stands out about her game is her passing skills. She can see over the defense and deliver pinpoint passes from the high post or out of a double team from the paint. She has good footwork and a soft shooting touch inside. She is also a good rebounder and shot blocker with good reactions of defense.
Aaliyah Moss (Gardner-Edgerton): A 5’9″ shooting guard who has already given a commitment to St. Mary’s. She is an athletic southpaw who was constantly getting into the paint and scoring on slashing drives. Her game is very fluid as she can also create off the dribble and knock down mid-range jump shots. She can also shoot it from 3-point range.
Kennedy Nutter (Pembroke Hill): A 5’10 shooting guard who has good athleticism along with her playmaking skills. She is also a very capable perimeter shooter who was knocking down the open triples whenever she got a good look. She reads defenses well and will work to get herself open. She is also a solid ball handler who can rebound well with her height inside.
Elaina Lobaugh (St. Teresa’s Academy): A 5’5″ guard who handles the ball well and was shooting the 3-pointer well coming off high ball screens. She displayed good anticipation on the defensive end as she got into the passing lanes to get a number of steals.
