Mackenzie Mori Mackenzie Mori 5'11" | SF Hamden Hall | 2024 State New E , Class 2024, Hamden Hall, Position SG, HT 5’11
Mori is a versatile and skilled player, with good size to match her skill set. She is very efficient and every dribble, cut or pass, is done with a purpose. She uses her dribbles effectively. When she puts the ball on the floor, it’s to either get to the basket, make her move or draw the defense in. In todays game you see way too much waisted dribbling. Mori has a good outside shot, and can also finish at the rim. Defensive she is very active, and gets a lot of deflections in the passing lanes. Mori has a lot of potential and a strong upside to her game.
Kendall Rees, Watkinson, Position G, class 2024, HT 5’11
Kendall is a Guard with size, who really improved her game last season. Kendall was named to the NESPAC all star team for the first time in her career. She does a lot of things to impact the game, even if sometimes it does not show up in the stat sheet. She made some big three pointers last season, and also some big stops on defense. Watch out for the returning back court duo of Eva Giannini Eva Giannini 5'7" | PG Watkinson | 2025 State New E and Kendall Rees this coming season.
Camdyn Nelson Camdyn Nelson 5'8" | PG St. Luke's | 2025 State New E , ST Luke’s, HT 5’8, class 2025, Position PG
ST Luke’s will return another very strong team this season. Camdyn will be a player to watch as they look to repeat. She is one of the most skilled players in the NEPSAC, and I think is a scholarship player. She plays much bigger than her listed size. She is very quick, and has a super crafty skill set. Camdyn is a high level playmaker, and can score in many ways, from all the areas of the floor. She does not force anything, and is also a good passer. She can control the game, and finishes well at the rim through contact. She can also shoot and makes some tough shots. Camdyn may be a flashy player, but she also plays very efficient. She is also a very good defender, who will get you stops when you need them. Camdyn currently holds a bunch of division 1 offers. Camdyn will be one of the key parts of the ST Luke’s squad, but that should not make you forget about the rest of the team. The team has a number of talented prospect you should watch.
Nasi Simmons Nasi Simmons 5'9" | SG Noble & Greenough | 2024 State New E , Nobles, HT 5’11, Position G, Class 2024
Nasi is one of the premier athletes you will see in the NEPSAC. She is super quick, has strong explosiveness, and plays under control. Coaches say she has a great attitude, and is very coachable. last season she averaged nearly 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 4.3 steals, on a high level Nobles team. When Nasi get’s down hill in transition watch out. She also uses her quickness to cover a lot of ground on defense, and she uses her high vertical to grab rebounds.
Abby Congdon Abby Congdon 5'7" | PG Loomis Chaffee | 2025 State New E , Loomis Chaffee, HT 5’7, PG, Class 2025
It will be hard to top last season, where Loomis won the NEPSAC Class A championship on their home floor. Abby was the heart and soul for the team last season. She played so tough, and with such a high motor. Every time she was on the floor she brought the energy level up. She did a little bit of everything for the team, and was a high percentage player. She made some big threes throughout the season, and also did a good job taking care of the ball. I think Abby will have a breakout junior season.
