The talent pool is deep with history and tradition of great guards from the past, this pool of prospects has the chance to be special. Our preseason previews will highlight the depth and buzz that they will bring when they step on the court this season. Let’s take a look in no particular order.
Hawkins is fluid and efficient in the way she scores. Has fluid mechanics with quick release on her shot. Loves to push the break in transition and can take it to the rack. She can create her own shot from anywhere on the court, but plays unselfish basketball looking for high % shots for her teammates . She is an elite three level scorer that will continue to get better.
Grant is active on the boards and is a force in the interior. She can disrupt things in the paint on the defense, and is hard to stop on offense. Has great footwork, using her physicality to get to the basket with ease. She can control the glass on both ends with her relentless effort and ball hawking skills.
Highlights
Francis is super versatile and dominant on both sides of floor. She can take over a game whenever she wants. Plays with high motor and tenacity to alter the game in her team’s favor. Has great handle and ball control and rarely turns it over. Excellent court vision and can get it to an open teammate for a high % shot when she draws attention.

Vukosa is one of the most exciting prospects in the country. She is a three level scorer with handle and playmaking ability. Has a lot of Jokic and Porzingis in her game. Loves to play the point, and throw outlet darts on the break while pushing the pace in transition. Has elite range from the perimeter and NBA range.
Swann has the chance to be special on both ends of the floor if she continues on this trajectory. She is a 5 tool player that can do everything you need to win. She is a shutdown defender that can take the best offensive player on the court out of the game. She has great court awareness and the ability to create turnovers and spark the break. I really like her potential on the defensive end, her offensive game is elite and she can continue to add different pieces to become near unstoppable.
