One state remains – one that is rich in talent. Georgia is the final state on this year’s Top 250 Expo schedule. The gathering of the state’s premier seniors, juniors and sophomores will once again emanate from LakePoint Sports in Cartersville.
After spotlighting a few of the sophomore talent that will be on hand, we now turn our attention to the junior class.
That name definitely rings a bell to us at Prep Girls Hoops. During the spring and summer, Conkell wore the uniform of Wood Elite 2025 and her travel team was among the many that was on hand at the Peach Games as part of the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit. One of the many strong areas of her game is how accurate she can be from behind the 3-point line. Much of what Conkell gets accomplished occurs while playing at either of the two guard spots in the backcourt. Conkell stands at 5-foot-4. Along with what she does fron behind the arc, Conkell has also displayed leadership skills over the years.
This 2025 is known for wearing the No. 24 and is a two-sport athlete as she adds track and field to her athletic resume along with what she gets accomplished on the basketball court. Her primary position is at the three in the backcourt and she is listed at 5-foot-6. McDaniel can get from one end of the court to the other and knows how to weave her way through opposing defenses. She is a ferocious attacker of the rim and understands how to absorb contact to make her way to the free throw line. McDaniel knows when it is the right time to score and when it is the correct time to distribute the ball.
The Sloane Vick Sloane Vick 5’9″ | SG Harrison | 2025 State GA experience has been felt for some time now on the basketball court as well as in the realm of flag football. She has established herself as a two-sport athlete with her hoops and her varsity flag football exploits. Vick is an example of a name who plays for a high school team in one state, but operates with an AAU organization in another. She runs with Alabama Southern Starz 2025 during the club months of the spring and summer. Among her many attributes is the ability to create additional possessions for her team with her defense, get out in transition and drain 3-pointers.
Wyman wears the colors of a Trojans team that was among the premier clubs of the 6A ranks last season. Lassiter put together a 22-6 campaign in 2022-23. She stands at 5-foot-8 and primarily operates as either a one or a two in the backcourt. Wyman is sure to find spaces in the open floor where she is likely to attempt a 3-pointer. If she has the rock from behind the arc, Wyman is likely to take and make those opportunities. She is also capable of hauling in her fair share of rebounds. During the travel months, Wyman wears the uniform of FBC ‘ last=’Legacy’] 16U GUAA.
