Two more commitments have happened within the Garden State, a fantastic sight to see considering the talent had in this state. Here’s the latest look at who will be and is getting noticed to play at the next level.
Brooke Stagliano Brooke Stagliano 5'6" | SG Paul VI | 2027 State NJ – Paul VI (2027) offered by Delaware
Already, the freshman class in New Jersey is getting some love as this is the second Class of 2027 prospect we’ve talked about in as many updates. Paul VI freshman Brooke Stagliano Brooke Stagliano 5'6" | SG Paul VI | 2027 State NJ is getting considerable Division I interest, offered by Delaware earlier this week.
Stagliano is an exciting prospect to watch, the next in the line of what anticipates to be top-level players to play at Paul VI. She’s showcased so far as a guard in AAU ball and at the middle school level, so who better to learn off of at the high school level than a pair of future college stars in Shariah Baynes Shariah Baynes 5'6" | SG Paul VI | 2024 State NJ and Eva Andrews Eva Andrews 5'10" | CG Paul VI | 2024 State NJ . Really excited to see her flourish with the Eagles.
Cassidy Perri Cassidy Perri 5'3" | SG St. Joseph (Hammonton) | 2024 State NJ – St. Joseph Academy (2024) commits to Immaculata
A rather under-the-radar player in the 2024 class, St. Joseph Academy senior guard Cassidy Perri Cassidy Perri 5'3" | SG St. Joseph (Hammonton) | 2024 State NJ committed to Immaculata University on Thursday.
She’s expected to be one of the best players in the Cape Atlantic League this season, coming off a career-best year as a junior where she averaged 16.4 points a game in 21 games played. The Wildcats were a team that hovered around .500 last season, but with a great season from their focal point, their captain in Perri, they could be a darkhorse playoff team to watch.
Emma Landes Emma Landes 5'9" | SF Ridge | 2024 State NJ – Ridge (2024) commits to Dickinson College.
Ridge found a steady presence in forward Emma Landes Emma Landes 5'9" | SF Ridge | 2024 State NJ over the past two seasons, and before her senior season, she announced her commitment to play at Dickinson College.
When Ridge needed a play to be made down low on either side of the ball, who else but Landes to do that. Last season, she averaged 11.2 PPG and 7.0 RPG in 26 games, nearly averaging a block a game along with 1.3 steals a game. She’s closing in on 1000 career points and has the potential of producing double-double averages this season. Time will tell, but she’s been an exciting forward to watch.
