Gisel is a shifty PG that knows how to run an offense. She is good with the ball and had a knack for getting it to her teammates in good spots at the Expo. In important situations she wanted the ball and made good decisions with it. She shot it well and had a confident 3 point stroke. She showed very well as an active defender at the other end and as a sophomore at The Pingry School her numbers should in improve for a team that brings back 4 of their top 5 scorers from last season.
Bella showed herself to be a high IQ basketball player at the Expo. She was aggressive at both ends. She found ways to get the ball in her hands and most of the time when I saw it she accomplished that by being extremely active cutting to the rim and hitting the offensive glass for rebound putbacks. She will be the focus of the offense for Cranford HS where, as a sophomore, she led the team in scoring and rebounding.
Highlights
At 6’4″ she took up a lot of space in the middle for her team at the Expo. She disrupted several drives on the defensive end. Offensively, after a couple her struggles early, she got more comfortable on the blocks and had decent footwork and finished with both hands inside. If she can be consistent on the blocks, Skylar could add much needed additional scoring and rebounding for Southern Regional HS.

Aliyah is an undersized interior player but she makes up for it with effort and aggressiveness. She drives to the rim hard and though it’s tough finishing inside in the world of 6 footers she uses her strength to draw contact and get to the free throw line. She works hard to get position inside and get tough rebounds. She will look to improve her stats across the board as a senior at Woodbridge HS.
Nikki was a good contributor for Team #4 at the Expo. She did whatever was needed. She showed a confident handle and was comfortable scoring from multiple spots on the court. She was a good part of the team defense and hustled from end to end. As the 3rd leading scorer at Hunterdon Central HS as a freshman she will be asked to do a lot more this year since the 2 scorers ahead of her graduated.
