Emma Yurich Emma Yurich 5'8" | SG Hillcrest | 2024 TX -5’8 G (Hillcrest) Team Reign [2024]
Yurich had me going as she showed she could create her shot under pressure and she shot the ball with confidence, I could see it in her eyes. She set the defender up nicely by using a deceptive first step to score off the dribble, body control was nice and helped her complete the deal off balance, at times after contact. Her mid to long-range jumper was solid, and her pull-up in transition created problems but she also saw the floor both in the set as well as in transition. She was consistently running the floor on both ends and her on-the-ball defense was more than solid
Mya Wesley Mya Wesley 5'6" | CG Eastland | 2024 State TX -5’6 G (Eastland) 2024
Wesley was one of the stars at the All Eyez On Me Showcase I have every June in Round Rock which was perfect because she shot the ROUND ROCK exceptionally. Fast forward to now, I guess her court vision and unselfishness stood because she had shots she could knock down but saw better opportunities in giving it to her teammates, yet in crunch she wanted the ball and delivered. Her “catch and shoot” was among the best at the event, and so was her mid to long-range jumper but watching her playing the passing lane was awesome, and so were her acrobatic finishes
Emily Bouaphanh Emily Bouaphanh 5'4" | PG Boswell | 2025 State TX -5’4 G (Boswell) DFW Hawks [2025]
Bouaphanh has been seen by me a few times and I was impressed with her ability to get hers “in the flow” during the club season. This setting gave me a totally different view and her BB-IQ immediately stood out because of her shot selection as well as seeing the floor, both in the set as well as in the open court. She showed the slight HEZ to attack, yes she dished off the dribble but her pull-up jumper in the halfcourt along with her stop-and-pop jumper in transition was very nice and she drained both from mid to long-range
Sienna Ayyad Sienna Ayyad 5'8" | SG Melissa | 2024 TX -5’8 G (Melissa) Nemesis [2024]
Ayyad attacked the basket powerfully off the dribble and her strength enabled her to finish strongly after contact yet powerful and strong is how she elevates on her jumper and knocking it down consistently with a hand in her face was nice, very nice. Let me back a bit, she created contact as she drove the rim, that’s a big plus but her mid to long-range jumper gave her options and kept the defenders guessing. She showed the “catch and shoot”, she rebounded and went coast to coast to score or dish and she played the passing lane
Addison Hodge Addison Hodge 5'5" | SG Sachse | 2026 TX -5’4 G (Sace) Warriors [2026]
Hodge rhymes with DODGE and with her being a “long and athletic” guard, she showed she could slice by defenders with ease off the dribble both in the set as well as in transition to score. Her “on the ball” defense was pretty solid, she also read the floor and played the passing lane yet her handling the ball afterward to score or hit teammates was nice yet with all of that being said, then it clicked. She created her shot under pressure and watching her elevate to let it go was very good, and so was her dropping multiple three pointers consecutively. She also shot the midrange well
Elizabeth Kellam Elizabeth Kellam 5'8" | SG Lake Highlands | 2024 TX -5’8 G (Lake Lands) Urban Heroes [2024]
Kellam shot the ball very well in every game I caught, even after playing the passing lane and handling the ball while being tightly defended to drop the “stop and pop” jumper. She also created her shot in the set to attack and score off the dribble or show the pull-up jumper, from mid to long-range. Her ability to “catch and shoot” stood out, also from mid to long-range and she did a good job of threading the needle in traffic to get her teammates easy looks. Her defense was solid, she even rebounded on both ends
Karlee Konarik Karlee Konarik 5'10" | SG Salado | 2026 State TX -5’10 G (Salado) Phoenix [2026]
Konarik continues to elevate her game just like she elevates on her jumper and her picture-perfect form stays consistent while being pressured. College coaches love big guards that can shoot and her ability to knock down shots is ahead of her years as she understands how to set the defender up to drop it from mid to long-range, with a hand in her face. She also shot it in transition, as well as off screens but her “catch and shoot” is going to be a game changer because her release is smooth and quick. She did a good job rebounding, on both ends and also defended tightly
