Among the numerous prospects who attended, here are the point guards who stole the spotlight. These talented athletes demonstrated their ability to lead, create, and orchestrate on the court, leaving a lasting impression with their ability to organize the offense and create points for their squads.
Kenzie Wuo Kenzie Wuo 5'6" West Fargo Sheyenne | 2027 ND – Class of 2027 – West Fargo Sheyenne ND – 5’6″ G
Kenzie displayed mesmerizing ball-handling skills that left defenders in the dust. A magician with the ball she lived up to the challenge of running an offense, using her exceptional dribbling and creativity to weave through traffic and finding gaps to create scoring opportunities for her team. Her ability to see passing lanes and deliver accurate passes made her one of the standout point guards at the expo. On the other side of the ball, she got after it on the ball and was arguably the most intense on-ball defender at the event. She is an absolute worker who plays the game with a high motor and passion to go along with it.
Sloane Keszler Sloane Keszler 5'6" | PG St. Thomas More | 2025 State SD – Class of 2025 – St. Thomas More SD – 5’6″ G
Sloane, a true point guard, commands the offense with her authoritative presence on the court. She dictated the pace of the game with confidence, making crucial decisions in crunch time. Keszler’s leadership and on-court communication were invaluable to her team’s success, solidifying her status as a floor general to watch. High IQ, advanced ball-handling skills, and a winning mindset set this guard apart from others in the state. She provides scoring herself as well as she is capable of knocking down the three and does a great job attacking the basket and scoring in the paint as well.
Mya Kochuten Mya Kochuten 5'6" | PG Spearfish | 2025 State SD – Class of 2025 – Spearfish SD – 5’6″ G
Mya showcased her exceptional playmaking abilities, making her a key player at the expo. This playmaker has an uncanny ability to read the defense and find open teammates with precision passes. Her court vision and understanding of when to score or create help her provide big-time firepower to an offense. She has an impressive shooting range and has the ability to get hot from deep and take games over. When she draws a crowd, her basketball IQ kicks in and she finds teammates for the better shot. She runs the floor well and operates with and without the ball in her hands very efficiently in the transition game as well.
Lennix Dupris Lennix Dupris 5'6" | PG Pierre | 2025 State SD – Class of 2025 – Pierre SD – 5’6″ G
Lennix is a point guard who can electrify the crowd with her explosive speed and agility. A very dynamic guard she lived up to expectations by driving to the rim with relentless determination. Her defensive tenacity and ability to create turnovers turned defense into offense, making her a force to be reckoned with on both ends of the court. She has excellent vision and ball skills and understands how to control tempo as a floor general.
Brooklyn Koll Brooklyn Koll 5'5" | PG Sioux Falls Roosevelt | 2025 State SD – Class of 2025 – Sioux Falls Roosevelt SD – 5’5″ G
Brooklyn plays the role of a catalyst to perfection for her team. She can ignite a team’s offense with her scoring and passing ability. She has been steadily climbing the rankings in her class and she once again proved why she deserves to be among the best in terms of guards. Understanding of the game, a competitive mindset, and an unmatched work ethic are driving Koll to be an extremely effective guard. She has an explosive first step and sees the floor well to find gaps to create layup opportunities or kickouts for her teammates. On defense she communicates and defends hard, holding her own against talented opposing guards.
Tegan Konold Tegan Konold 5'6" | CG Mobridge-Pollock | 2026 State SD – Class of 2026 – Mobridge-Pollock SD – 5’6′ G
Tegan, a high IQ guard is a visionary with exceptional court vision and basketball smarts. She demonstrated an innate ability to anticipate plays and make the right decisions, setting up her teammates for success. She makes passes other players simply don’t know are there and creates extra opportunities for her teammates to get an easy basket. Pair this with a nice three-point shot with a smooth release and you have a point guard that adds to the potency of any offense. Konold’s ability to control the tempo and make timely plays made her a standout performer.
Ashlee Williamson Ashlee Williamson 5'3" | SG Minot | 2025 ND – Class of 2025 – Minot ND – 5’2″ G
Ashlee, at just a 5’2″ point guard, was a commanding presence on the court, earning her spot as a top floor general of the expo. She displayed a keen understanding of the game’s details, orchestrating her team’s offense with authority. Williamson’s ability to distribute the ball and make her teammates better was a testament to her leadership and ability to run the offense. On top of her ability to handle the ball and create shots for others, she has impressive range from beyond the arc and is an intense, in your face on-ball defender as well.
Amity Strand Amity Strand 5'4" St. Thomas More | 2026 SD – Class of 2026 – St. Thomas More SD – 5’4″ G
Amity showcased her skills and was one of the most advanced ball handlers on the court. Her precise passing and ability to control defenders with her handles looked like an athlete ready to orchestrate an offense. Strand’s basketball IQ and decision-making were impeccable, solidifying her as one of the top guards on the day. She showed off a nice jump shot with consistency from deep, the ability to drive and dish, and a solid set of skills defending guards on the perimeter. The Dakotas Top 250 Expo provided a stage for some of the most promising young talents in basketball, and the point guards, or “floor generals,” undoubtedly took control of the event.
