We’ll be talking about them and more below.
Kiyomi McMiller Kiyomi McMiller 5'8" | PG Life Center Academy | 2024 State NJ – PG, Life Center Academy
Already someone who has signed NIL deals and gotten plenty of traction before the start of her senior season, McMiller is a hot commodity within the entire country. A top prospect in our 2024 rankings and a top prospect nationwide, McMiller shined in her junior year at Life Center Academy, a do-it-all guard with so many intangibles and a college-ready skillset. Everything she does on the court, from running the point to driving in, posting from outside or crashing the boards, all of it looks completely effortless. We’re just excited to see where she decides to take her talents to.
Mikayla Blakes Mikayla Blakes 5'8" | SG Rutgers Prep | 2024 State NJ – SG, Rutgers Prep
Blakes and McMiller are cheat codes in this article because we know that both will end up playing college ball. It all just depends on where that will be played. One of the best players in the state and the backbone of Rutgers Prep, Blakes is currently down to her final seven schools, featuring programs from the Big Ten, SEC and Pac-12. Among those include programs like Indiana and Stanford, two of the best in the country currently. She’s an incredible scorer, someone who plays with poise, and a great leader as well as just a great player. When she commits, it will be must-watch material.
Janasia Wilson Janasia Wilson SF Irvington | 2024 State NJ – SF, Irvington
To our knowledge, Wilson hasn’t committed anywhere just yet and we are very much looking forward to where she will land because her success on the court has been plentiful and then some. Her junior year at Irvington was arguably her best, averaging nearly 24 points a game offensively with five rebounds and nearly four assists a game. She expanded her range as a shooter and grew significantly as a player. She’s a superstar talent and a must-watch player when she’s on the floor.
Kylie Cabana Kylie Cabana 5'8" | SG Paramus Catholic | 2024 State NJ – SG/SF, Paramus Catholic
Cabana’s junior season for Paramus Catholic featured a first in her career as the guard/forward recorded a double-double average for the first time in her career. She’s really been working toward that mark, being such an aggressive player on both sides of the ball, and it’s not surprising at all to see that she achieved that goal. Cabana has developed into a strong all-around talent, someone who made significant steps forward in the summer as she works toward Player of the Year consideration in the Big North.
Alyssa Craigwell Alyssa Craigwell 5'9" | SF Secaucus | 2024 State NJ – SF, Secaucus
Craigwell is another player who we think has yet to have committed, but college programs are missing out if they’ve failed to scout her. The reigning NJIC Player of the Year just missed out on averaging 20 points a game, showcasing great range in her shooting, as well as much-improved defensive play. She’s become someone who can and has been relied upon to get stops down low as much as she creates them offensively. Really aggressive, basketball smart player who should be once again one of the best players in North Jersey.
