The best of the best from around the country come to show off their skills sets and impress the coaches, scouts, media and others participating in this event in the great town of Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a two-day event and they house the Boys and Girls for this event for this weekend. We went to get some information on the event as well as highlight the California girls that participated in the event, here they are.
2026, 6’1, PG, Sierra Canyon HS, Jerzy Robinson Jerzy Robinson 6'0" | CG Sierra Canyon | 2026 State CA
Jerzy is a straight killer, she is relentless, she is poised and calm, she handles the game like it is a NORMAL thing for her to do, makes it look easy and this game is not easy at the highest level. She continues to improve wen she is already so good, she still will surprise you with a pass, a rebound or a nice shot from the floor, this kid is really special and Sierra Canyon is lucky to have her. We love her determination to want to win at all cost, she is a born leader and it shows on the floor each and every time we see her play, great talent, love that she is here representing Cali now.
2025, 5’5, PG, Etiwanda HS, Aliyahna Morris Aliyahna Morris 5'5" | PG Etiwanda | 2025 State CA
Aliyahna is a playmaker, she is the dream as a point guard, she is tough, she is smart with a very high IQ, but you already know that if you are from California, she is the PG for the Open Division State Champion, Etiwanda High School. She runs her team like a BOSS, she can score from all three levels and get to the rim and take contact and finish with no hesistation. She makes others better on the floor and she gives her team a since of pride and leadership, they always play hard for her as she does for them. She is still developing and it is scary, because she is already really good, cannot wait to see her this season on the Championship chase.
2024, 5’11, CG, Corona Santiago HS, Destiny Agubata Destiny Agubata 5'10" | SF Etiwanda | 2024 State CA
Destiny stands out each and every time I see her play, she is a solid combo guard that has the skill to make a variety of shots when on the floor, she is a natural born scorer and she can also lend some minutes at the point guard to help setup the team. She is a good rebounder, she does the little things on the floor and is one of the many guards who takes pride in defending hard on the floor. She is a leader as well and we love the intensity she shows on the floor for herself and her teammates, this kid can play the game and her skill set is really refined and ready for the next level.
2024, 6’1. CG, St. Josephs HS, Avary Cain Avary Cain 6'0" | CG St. Josephs | 2024 State CA
Avary put in work as usual like she does each and every time she gets on the floor and plays the game she loves so much, she showed some improved skill set as in more efficient shooting from behind the arc, she showed a willingness to sit down and defend in a camp showcase atmosphere. We also like her leadership at the camp, was very vocal and made things happen for her teammates as well as herself. This kid is a standout for all of the writers in the building, we just hope she continues to improve and make the stride to GREAT, she is headed there already.
