Class of 2027 Watch List (Forwards)

Prep Hoops Missouri presents its first Watch List of excellent forwards and post players in the Class of 2027 who are entering the high school ranks. Here are a few to watch.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='782644' first='Dasia' last='Scott'] (Principia): A 6'2" forward who is the top incoming freshman in the state. She is force in the paint with her physical strength and good moves, yet she can also operate on the perimeter as a playmaker and scorer. She has already received multiple Division I scholarship offers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Symone Walker (Father Tolton): A 6'2" forward who is one of the top young prospects in Mid-Missouri. She is a versatile player who is capable of bring the ball up against pressure defense. She can also score in the post with her height and athleticism.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='803061' first='Destiny' last='Manyawu'] (Staley): A 6'1" forward who is one of the top young prospects in the Kansas City area. She has excellent length and athleticism, when enables her score, rebound and block shots very effectively.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='631765' first='Ava' last='Pratt'] (St. Michael the Archangel): A 6'0" small forward who has a strong motor to go along with her versatile skill set. She is a very effective slasher who can also hit the perimeter jumper.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='777617' first='Hadley' last='Gravatt'] (Liberty): A 6'0" small forward who is just as comfortable on the wing as she is on the in the paint. She is an excellent playmaker who can handle the pass the ball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='777608' first='Bristol' last='Lathrop'] (Ash Grove): A 5'11" forward from the SWMO area with a nice all-around game. She can score inside with either hand, drive to the basket and also step out and hit the 3-pointer.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Abygail Amberger (Perryville): A 5'11" forward who plays the Stretch 4 position very well with her ability to handle the ball and shoot it from 3-point range.
