Carvajal is one of two Meadville players on this list. That’s no surprise as this was a core that went 31-0 last season and won the state championship in dominant fashion. Paige has a younger sister who will be a major recruit moving forward but we’ll give this nod to the older and more experienced sister. They are a terrific duo.
Holcer is the other Meadville guard on this list. At 5’7 she helps assist others and has the capability to have big scoring nights. It would be easier to list what she can’t do on the floor. Her junior season included 105 threes and better than 19 PPG. She’s an explosive offensive player who’s fun to watch. Holcer has great range from three.
Holweg is a senior leader who has a great motor on both ends of the floor. She’s an aggressive player who does all the little things like rebounding and making hustle plays. An excellent shooter off the bounce and catch. She’s a solid overall player and one of the best in the class.
Dinkins is continuing the family name and success at South Iron. She’s a fast player in the open floor with great pace and overall feel for the game. Very crafty in the lane. She has a deep bag of tricks and knows how to create open looks for herself as a scorer. A pure scorer from the guard spot.
Collins is the potential favorite for Class 1 Player of the Year. She has a well diversified game and great size for the position at 6’1. She’s a multi-time state champion and someone who’s capable of going for 20 and 10 on any given night. A great scorer and rebounder. One of the best small school seniors in the state.
