Bailey is an automatic addition to this list after leading Tipton to the state championship last season. She’s one of the best shooters in 2025 and can get open looks herself. Creative with the ball and good in the screen and roll game. She should see a major increase in production from 11 PPG last season.
Newberry is one of the most talented seniors in the class and put up huge numbers as a junior. The 5’9 guard averaged 19.8 PPG, 6.0 RPG, and 3.5 APG. The skilled guard had a strong grassroots season and has become a more complete player. She’s an outstanding player both on and off the ball.
Vaught is an excellent wing who took home a variety of honors after last season. She’s a good transition player who can extend the Polo defense on the perimeter. A competitive player, she has a high motor and plays both sides of the ball. Vaught is a consistent contributor and makes a major impact outside of just scoring.
Ernst was one of the more impressive freshmen in Class 2 and was an All-State selection last season. She’s her teams top player and brings versatility to the floor from the forward spot. An effective defender who adds rim protection. The sophomore can switch and move with guards while having the size to defend the post. Being that she’s 6’1 there’s lots of upside moving forward as well.
Harman has great size and knows how to use it on the floor. She’s a 6’2 forward out of NE Cairo who’s one of the more difficult players to stop on the interior in this class. Her game has continued to evolve and her rebounding prescenes remains constant. She was All-State last season and we expect the same moving forward.
