We try to evaluate at least (4) girls per team we watch a day, that way we have sufficient notes on those kids if we decide to add them to the rankings edition coming up in December 2023. Enjoy what we thought about these kids…
2026, CG, Bishop Montgomery HS, Sophia Dignadice Sophia Dignadice 5'7" | SG Bishop Montgomery | 2026 State CA
Sophia is pretty good in our opinion, she is a quick and agile guard that knows how to play the game, she has a nice three point shot and is capable of shooting it at a high clip. She attacks screens aggressively off the dribble and can make the pick and roll work to her advantage with nice passes to the roller or pulling up for the shot, if the defense lay back. She is a good rebounder and will continue to improve each and every game.
2024, 6’1, SF, Sage Hill HS, Kat Righeimer Kat Righeimer 6'1" | SF Sage Hill | 2024 State CA
Kat has a great feel for the game, she does it all at her size, she scores of cuts to the rim, showing her understanding of game at a high clip as well. She can get putbacks, she can score off the bounce and she even gets alot of deflections on the defensive end of the floor. This kid has good size for her position and she knows how to take advantage of the mismatches on the floor, we loved watching her make plays for her team.
2024, 5’5, SG, Ontario Christian HS, Dejah Saldivar Dejah Saldivar 5'6" | SG Ontario Christian | 2024 State CA
Dejah is a favorite of ours, she has been on our website since she was a 7th grader, we have watched her game develop into the complete player she is now on the floor. She can shoot the ball, that is her specialty, she can pass the ball as well, she has learned how to be a lead guard and she does it very well for her team. She rebounds pretty good for her size and position and that will carry her a long way at the next level, if a guard can rebound, the transition game is so much more easier for your team to score.
2024, 5’1, PG, Oak Park HS, Temilola Wateron Temilola Wateron 5'1" | PG Oak Park | 2024 State CA
This young lady was impressive as well for her size, she has good footwork to match her good ball handling skills on the floor, she ran the team with precision and made her coach proud. She is quick and crafty with the ball, she is aggressive on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. She pushed the tempo on the break and got her team transition points and she was able to get paint touches and kick out to shooter on the wing, she did a good job of distributing.
