The Fairview Panthers are one of the most dominate teams in Division V. They are led by two allstate players . Reesie Jinks Reesie Jinks PG LA a junior guard who averaged 19 points a game and senior forward Ella Reeves who averaged 22 points a game are those leaders. Reesie Jinks Reesie Jinks PG LA was the state Mvp. The team has a outstanding coach in Kyle Jinks. The Panthers lost in the state championship game last season. Fairview is 5 and 0 on the season with impressive wins over the defending champs Hathaway 77-58 and power house Midland 64 to 45.

Hathaway

The Hathaway Hornets are the defending state champs. They are led by senior allstate guard Madison Suire Madison Suire PG LA who averaged 12 points a game last season. Some other key players are senior guard Chaylee Beard, senior forward Chloe Daigle , senior forward Mckenzie Guinn and senior forward Emma Broussard. The Hornets are 1 and 2 on the season.

Gibsland-Coleman

The Gibsland-Coleman Bulldogs have a good core group returning. They are 2 and 1 on the season . They are ranked #2 in the state this year.

Reeves

The Reeves Raiders have a young talented group that will be good the next few years. They are led by junior guard Hope Cauthron Hope Cauthron 5'7" | CG Reeves | 2025 LA and junior forward Kelsey Williams who is a outstanding three point shooter. Another key player is guard Lailah Williams who is also a great three point shooter. The Raiders lost in the semifinals last season. They are off to a good start this year with a record of 3 and 1. The only lost of the season was to the defending champs Hathaway 57 to 50.
