Kasey Oliver (Clear Brook)
Oliver does a good job using her frame on both ends of the court. She understands positioning and rebounded strongly but she also did a good job defending inside the paint
Ryleigh Hackman (Clear Brook)
Hackman played solid defense in the halfcourt and understood when to switch but she also showed she could take the defender off the dribble and score from multiple angles. She also showed UPS and this helped her alter some shots
Zoe Senganya (Shadow Creek)
Sengaya falls into that #sizedontmatter hashtag I started using over a decade ago because she can play and showed that she understood how to use her athleticism on both ends of the court. She attacked the basket strongly and dished off the dribble yet her “on the ball” defense was tough
Dulce Franco (Seven Lakes)
Franco read the floor on both ends, and made good decisions and solid passes. She also set the defender up with a deceptive first step to attack the basket but watching her play the passing lane had me smiling
Alice Perry (Pearland)
Perry is “long and athletic” which is and always will be the base and when you factor in her height, which is somewhere near “the magic number” her intangibles add more. She has good timing, she rebounds on both ends of the court and she does a good job defending inside the paint
Sydney Person Sydney Person 5'10" | SG Ridge Point | 2025 State TX (Ridge Point)
Person showed she could not only create her shot under pressure but knock it down with a hand in her face. Her defense both in the set as well as baseline to baseline was solid and she hit the boards on both ends
Kosi Igwebuike (Cy Woods)
Igwebuike has some scary upside because of her intensity and DESIRE to go AFTA everything off the rim. She falls into that “you won’t outwork me” and it didn’t doesn’t hurt that she’s tall as well as “long and athletic”. She defended in and outside the paint
Jasmine Lee (Cy Woods)
Lee has a few different marks by her name, stars, and stripes yet a red flag needs to be on alert when she has the ball. I enjoyed her patiently setting the defender up as well as her solid shot selection yet her dropping the pull-up jumper in the set, as well as the “stop and pop” in transition, was nice, so with her long ball
Kirsten Lippold (Clear Lake)
Lippold was yet another “long and athletic” player who did a good job altering shots but her defense was also solid inside the paint. She rebounded, and got the ball out quickly yet she showed some nice moves and finished around the basket
Kambree Adams (George Bush)
Adams gave me a good look back in August see evaluation here but what I caught this time around was all I already mentioned as well as a nice crossover
Sai Sai Stewart (Dulles)
Stewart showed me I was on the money when I saw her back in June see evaluation here
