Kalajah Wright
Kalajah Wright
Kalajah is a player that caught my eye this week. In her game vs Millbrook, she displayed an attack mentality. She is an unselfish player that looks to create opportunities for her teammates to score. Defensively, she is a pest and she created multiple turnovers for her team. She is a players whose statistics have increased each year. She is a player to follow throughout the year.
Fiery player that brings a lot of emotion to the game. She has good mechanics on her jump shot and range out to the 3 point line. She displays good handles that she uses to breakdown defense and create for her self and others. Her height allows her to see over smaller guards and make pin-point passes. Her length on defense allows her to create steals and turn defense into offense.
Luci Augustson

Luci player that has a quality that all coaches are looking for in modern basketball. That quality is the ability to shoot the ball. Luci good shooter with range out to the 3 point line and the confidence to let it fly consistently. In her game against East Wake, she knock down multiple 3 pointers. Not only does she shoot well, she is a good rebounder that is averaging 9.4 rebounds per game on the season. She has potential to play at the next level and should be someone D2 and D3 coaches keep an eye on throughout the season.
Deana Presad is another player that caught my attention. She displays good ballhandling with the ability to get into the paint create for herself and others. Good form on her jumper with the ability to shoot from well beyond the 3 point line. In her matchup against Athens Drive, she knocked down a couple of three pointers. She uses her length well on defense to create turnovers. She also rebounds well for her position. She is a name that should garner more attention as the season continues.

Quincie Toran Quincie Toran 5’11” | SF Athens Drive | 2025 NC is a name that should be getting a little recognition as she has come out in the early season and put up a stat line of 15.8 PPG and 6.2 RPG in what appears to be a role increase from last year. In her gam against Green Level, I watch her knock down a couple of threes with her smooth jumper. She also uses her size and length to attack the basket and finish through contact. She will be a name to keep an eye on as the season progress.
