Kylie Pieper Kylie Pieper 5'7" | CG Pewaukee | 2026 State WI
The most recent addition to this list and the inspiration for today’s articles, Kylie Pieper Kylie Pieper 5'7" | CG Pewaukee | 2026 State WI , had a career game in the second half of Pewaukee’s game against Homestead. After coming out of the halftime break down six, scoring 22 points in the first half, Pieper scored 15 second-half points by herself and was the scoring force in a second half for the Pirates in a half that they won 45-25. I’d never seen Pieper as willing to shoot it as she was in the second half, but she was well within her rights to be, given how effective she was.
Addison Baumgart Addison Baumgart 6'0" | PF Kaukauna | 2025 State WI
All summer, Baumgart shot the ball at a high level consistently. So I did what I usually do whenever I’m curious about a game I didn’t attend or how a kid played. I pulled up a stream and watched Kaukauna’s game against Oshkosh North on 2x speed. It felt like Baumgart hit 12 threes, even though it was nine, and the first two the defense contested. After those first two fell, she got into a zone that she got into a few times with her Legends team. She finished the Oshkosh North game on the road with 33 points. You won’t find many better shooters standing 6-0 or taller.
I don’t know what it is about Arrowhead games I attend, but Bub always plays well. Against Neenah, Bub took advantage of everything the defense gave her and scored at all three levels. She’s a high-IQ kid and makes winning plays on both ends. Bub’s one of the best operators in the middle of a zone I’ve seen in the state, and it’s not close. I have no idea if she wants to play at the next level, but I have no doubts successful programs could use her skillset.
Claire Meudt Claire Meudt 5'10" | SF Waunakee | 2024 State WI
Watching what Claire Meudt Claire Meudt 5'10" | SF Waunakee | 2024 State WI has become over the past few seasons is fascinating. Two years ago, Meudt was a role player that was a fourth or fifth option. As a senior, she’s been one of the best scorers I’ve seen in Wisconsin high school basketball this season. Even when she gets face guarded, she moves so well without the ball and has a quick enough release that she can still pour in over 20 without dribbling more than 15 times. There’s no wasted movement, and she’s arguably the most complete offensive player in the Badger-Large.
