Khalia Lewis Khalia Lewis 6'0" | SF Our Lady Of Mercy Academy | 2027 State NJ – F, Our Lady of Mercy
OLMA had two impact seniors that we already knew were going to play a big role this season. However, a pleasant surprise on the floor has been the freshman forward Khalia Lewis Khalia Lewis 6'0" | SF Our Lady Of Mercy Academy | 2027 State NJ , averaging 13.9 PPG and 13.7 RPG through her first seven games of the year. This includes more than a block a game and two steals a game, really an all-around performance from her that’s added frontcourt depth to the Villagers’ roster.
Giavanna Heller Giavanna Heller 5'6" | PG Audubon | 2027 NJ – G, Audubon
Through Audubon’s first six games of this season, the Green Wave sit just three wins away from equaling their win total from last season. Audubon’s surprising 6-0 start has been spearheaded by several players, but the freshman guards Giavanna Heller Giavanna Heller 5'6" | PG Audubon | 2027 NJ has been a surprise of her own. Really impressive start to her high school career, averaging 7.7 PPG and 3.0 SPG with three double-digit scoring performances thus far.
El-Anita Joe-Samuel El-Anita Joe-Samuel 6'0" | SF Lenape | 2027 State NJ – G/F, Lenape
Lenape has found a diamond in the rough in Joe-Samuel, an impressive and versatile piece on the floor for this team that’s now 4-3 on the season. Through seven games, she’s averaging 11.4 PPG with six double-digit scoring performances, including four-straight so far. She’s averaging one made three-pointer a game and is a constant force on a conference contender.
Makayla David Makayla David 5'2" | CG Kearny | 2027 State NJ – G, Kearny
Kearny might have found its three-point shooter of the future in David, someone who’s knocked down 2.4 three-pointers a game this season while averaging 14.6 PPG in five games played. The Kardinals are a player in the HCIAL, and with a player like David leading the way, this program is in good hands for the rest of this season and for the next four years.
Juliet Johnson – C/F, Morris Hills
Johnson has impressed to begin the year for Morris Hills, a constant presence in the frontcourt that this team has appreciated greatly this season. She’s averaging 9.3 PPG and 8 RPG through her first seven games played, with two double-doubles this season. Add 1.6 steals a game and even more impressive 3.7 blocks a game, you have one of the most fearsome forwards in North Jersey.
