Addison Nichols Addison Nichols 5'6" | CG Delta | 2024 State MO (Delta): The 2024 guard had a big performance in the victory over Saxony Lutheran in the championship game. She scored a game-high 24 points as she was cooking from the perimeter. In addition to her ability to shoot it from 3-point range, she can also post up and get a bucket in the lane. She has a nice up and under move inside. She can also drive and kick the ball to an open teammate.
Presley Holweg Presley Holweg 5'5" | CG Delta | 2024 State MO (Delta): A 2024 guard who has been playing well at Delta since her freshman year. She is very good on the drive as she has a quick first step to the basket to beat a defender. She was also hitting the mid-range jumper from the elbow. She can also go coast to coast after grabbing a rebound with her good handles.
Holland Guilliams (Jackson): A 2024 guard who had an excellent week as she earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team. She was fearless in getting downhill on the drive and taking the ball at defenders, regardless of their height. She could also stop on the dime to knock down the pull up jumper. She was constantly moving on offense and getting herself open as she topped the 20-point mark on a couple of occasions.
Rebecca Johnson (Saxony Lutheran): A 2024 guard who had a nice shooting stroke from the perimeter. She also had good court awareness and a nice feel for the game. In one game, she doubled back on defense to steal an outlet pass to get a layup. She did a good job of working in the middle of a zone defense as she could flash at the right time to receive a pass to hit the jumper from the free throw line. She earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team after helping lead Saxony to the finals.
Jade Berry Jade Berry 5'5" | CG Delta | 2025 State MO (Delta): A 2025 point guard who has good quickness and does a good job of setting the offense. She penetrates in the lane well and can deliver a pinpoint pass. She does a good job of pushing the ball in transition and is one of the many ball hawks on defense on the full court press. She can also hit the open 3-pointer.
Emani Summers (Cape Girardeau Central): A 5’9″ 2024 guard who was the best athlete that I watched during the tournament. She has good quickness and leaping ability. She has a nice quick jump around the basket to get offensive rebounds and putbacks. She is a good ball handler and passes who can slash into the lane in a very fluid manner. She can also pull up and knock down the mid-range jumper with good elevation.
Addy Massa (Woodland): A 2027 guard who is a very impressive young player that got my attention. She was always on the go when she had the ball in her hands as she stayed in attack mode. She operated well in tight spaces as she was able to euro-step her way through traffic to get a bucket. If she was cut off by the defender, she could hit the pull up jumper or the runner. She was fearless and very confident, which is good for a player her age in a big tournament.
