I had a chance to watch a pair of games with Westran defeating Hallsville and Fort Zumwalt East defeating Clopton. Here is a look at some of the players that caught our eye on Friday.
Kate Hollman (Westran): A 5’10 2026 wing player who was one of the top all-around players that I watched. She is tall enough and strong enough to excel in the post. She’s also and excellent ball handler and playmaker with 3-point shooting range.

Bella Westbrook Bella Westbrook 5'9" | SG Ft. Zumwalt East | 2026 State MO (Fort Zumwalt East): A 5’9 2026 guard who had a big game in East’s victory over Clopton. She scored a game high 20 points, which included three 3-pointers. She is a matchup problem with her ball and and perimeter shooting from beyond the arc. She can also use her strength inside to score against smaller defenders.
******
Ashley Rusthoven (Fort Zumwalt East): A 6’2 2024 post player who uses her height and size very well in the paint. She catches the ball well and she’s a good finisher inside. She’s a track and field standout who has committed to North Dakota State.
******
Emily Stockamp (Hallsville): A 6’0 2024 forward who scored 12 points against Westran. She’s a solid lefty post player who used the glass very well to finish. Her positioning was good and she could walk up her defender up the lane when she was fronted to create a lob pass.
******
Charleigh Spoonster Charleigh Spoonster 5'5" | PG Clopton | 2027 MO (Clopton): A 5’6 2027 point guard who is dynamic with her speed and quickness. She handles the ball well and she can break down a defender to create a shot off the dribble.
******
Jaelyn Miller (Westran): A 5’2 2026 point guard who runs the show well on offense. She can also hit the open 3-pointer. She was also a pest on defense with her speed and quickness and ball hawking ability.
