Roane County had 5 players in double figures. Braxton Fritz Braxton Fritz 5'7" | SG Kingston | 2024 State TN led the way with 17 points, Mackenzie Raymer scored 15, Maris Neal Maris Neal 5'5" | CG Kingston | 2024 State TN had 12, Addison Roberts added 11, and Macey Neal Macey Neal 5'7" | SG Kingston | 2024 State TN notched 10!
The freshman guard, Ansley Moore Ansley Moore 5'8" | CG Harriman | 2027 TN scored in double figures for Harriman!
Below are a few of the notable players:
Braxton Fritz Braxton Fritz 5'7" | SG Kingston | 2024 State TN | G | 2024 | Roane County HS – The Maryville College commit put on quite the performance. Braxton never takes a play off, especially on defense! Fritz scored 1,000 points last season and she was honored late in this game after swishing a 3 point shot! Braxton finished with 17 points on the night to go along with numerous rebounds and steals! I didn’t get to follow Braxton’s journey for very long but I can tell you that she will excel at the next level! Congratulations again!
Mackenzie Raymer | G| 2027 | Roane County HS – Raymer is long & athletic! In the first 4 minutes of the game, Mackenzie already notched a score, stole the ball, deflected passes, & rebounded on both sides of the ball! If Raymer continues to work, this will be a young athlete for everyone to keep their eyes on. Mackenzie finished with 15 points on the night! She’s definitely on my radar to keep following!
Macey & Maris Neal Maris Neal 5'5" | CG Kingston | 2024 State TN | G | 2024 | Roane County HS – I am mentioning these twin sisters together because their style of play is quite similar. Yes, one may have a better mid-range, and yes one may be a little feistier. Go watch Roane County and you can find out because they are both fun to watch! It was my first time watching the sisters and they are both extremely athletic! If either of them want to have a future on the hardwood, they definitely could!
Addison Roberts | F | 2025 | Roane County HS – Roberts did a great job of rebounding and drawing contact! Roberts went to the free throw line quite a bit. She did her part by sinking most of them! Roberts has great size and length. If she continues to work, we will see a lot more about this one!
Now to Harriman:
Ansley Moore Ansley Moore 5'8" | CG Harriman | 2027 TN | G | 2027 | Harriman HS – Moore did a fantastic job at attacking the rim! The freshman class runs extremely deep across Tennessee, & Ansley has an extremely high ceiling if she keeps working! Moore is an athletic guard that has a good feel for the game!
Hannah Wilson Hannah Wilson 5'6" | SG Harriman | 2024 State TN | G | 2024 | Harriman HS – The senior guard definitely tried to help lead her young Harriman squad to a win. Hannah works hard on both sides of the court. Wilson did show her 3 point shot off by drilling numerous threes during the game!
This rival was a fun one to watch. It may be a rebuilding year for a young Harriman squad but I am excited to continue following both of these teams in the future!
