Voting has concluded and the results are in! The top three vote-getters were Kimi Sayson Kimi Sayson 5'3" | PG Shore | 2025 State NJ (Shore Regional) with 62.07% of the votes, Haley Poser Haley Poser 5'8" | SG Ranney School | 2025 State NJ (Ranney) with 12.44% of the votes and Emily Tvrdik Emily Tvrdik 5'9" | SG Wall | 2024 State NJ (Wall) with 10.26% of the votes.
Kimi Sayson Kimi Sayson 5'3" | PG Shore | 2025 State NJ | Shore Regional
The junior transfer from Long Branch was an A-Central Division Second Team honoree last season and brings a dynamic two-way game to the Blue Devils. With explosive speed and a knack for getting to the rim, Kimi is as fearless as they come. Whether she’s competing scholastically in the winter or throughout the summer with the Shoreshots and Gilas National Team, she brings the fire and intensity. She is offensively versatile and can spot-up comfortably from outside or take defenders off the dribble and flash to the hoop with blistering speed. On defense, she stalks and hounds the ball-handler, applying suffocating pressure and using excellent anticipatory skills to turn opponents over at a rapid pace. She is a tough task for any team to try and contain.
Haley Poser Haley Poser 5'8" | SG Ranney School | 2025 State NJ | Ranney
Selected as an All-Shore “Honorable-Mention” and C-North Division First Team honoree a season ago, Haley was one of the state’s most prolific scorers pouring in 444 points in just 24 games. She has been Ranney’s go-to scoring option for the past 2 years now as she can light it up from just about anywhere on the court. Her mid-range game is silky smooth and almost automatic, whether it’s off the catch and shoot or pulling up and nailing the stop-and-pop jumper. Her offensive onslaught last season was one to marvel at, posting eight 20+ point games and one game where she dropped 35 (against Chatham). From her freshman to sophomore years, she doubled her total points, doubled her 3-pointers made and more than doubled her free throw attempts, serving as testament to her upped intensity and tenacity.
Emily Tvrdik Emily Tvrdik 5'9" | SG Wall | 2024 State NJ | Wall
A C-North Division First Team selectee last season, Emily was a do-it-all force for Wall. She enters her senior season just 137 points shy of 1,000 for her career and a chance to establish herself as one of the best scorers to ever play for the Lady Knights. She gets buckets in a number of ways, whether she’s splitting defenders and attacking the rim or shooting lights out from the perimeter. She is a speed demon on the fast break, converting stellar defense to quick-hitting transition offense. Emily’s ability to get her teammates involved in the scoring is just another layer of the complete player she is, possessing excellent court vision and a sharp basketball acumen. Her confidence has soared as the years have passed and it shows in her overall production and performance.
