Sophie Nascimento was exceptional in all aspects . She demonstrated efficiency in every possession and remained vigilant on the defensive end. Her performance was a key factor in her team’s victory. Sophie didn’t shy away from taking shots but also displayed a keen understanding of when to distribute the ball.

was arguably the most outstanding player this past weekend. She led by example with her extravagant passes and relentless hustle. Nisbet was a step ahead of everyone. Her passes were calculated and accurate. She also showcased her shooting prowess with several significant baskets late in the game.

Longwood’s Amiyah Carter is already in mid-season mode. The junior guard was aggressive from the opening whistle. She found comfort in attacking the rim early and didn’t alter her plan. She maintained her composure when she missed several jump shots but displayed maturity to keep her rhythm intact.
Jodi Toledo
Jodi Toledo
Jodi Toledo is a terrific three-point shooter. You can rely on her to consistently contribute more than half of those points per game. Leaving her open is a mistake you can’t afford. The right-handed guard is poised to play a crucial role in Scanlan’s success this season. Although she’s only a sophomore, her play suggests otherwise.
Julia Scott Julia Scott 6’3″ | PF Albertus Magnus | 2026 State NY deserves widespread recognition by now. The 6’2 sophomore possesses excellent footwork, enabling her to navigate smoothly around the rim. Scott’s height creates challenging matchups. Additionally, she is proficient at finishing with both hands. Scott demonstrates alertness off the ball and is committed to defending the rim. She currently holds interests and offers from several Division 1 programs, including Illinois, Harvard, Delaware, Iona, and others.
Shaneka Campbell
Shaneka Campbell
Despite their loss, Truman’s Shaneka Campbell was relentless on the boards. She also contributed 17 points. Campbell has a high motor and can affect the game in multiple ways. She can defend, rebound, and score effortlessly. Campbell’s development is one to keep an eye on.

McManus is truly a special talent. She is a streaky scorer who has the ability to knock down three-pointers with ease. She has established herself as one of CHSAA’s best. She is capable of creating for herself and her teammates. McManus is calculated in possession due to her experience and awareness. She is a game changer.
