Led by the Dynamic Duo of Zarai Lewis Zarai Lewis 5'7" | SG Clovis | 2024 State NM & Kailyn Jefferson Kailyn Jefferson 5'7" | SF Clovis | 2024 State NM , the Clovis Wildcats are 2-0 to begin the 2023-24 season. They look to extend their winning streak as they welcome the Jaguars to town, a solid 4A contender that features a dynamic backcourt.

Sandia Matadors
The Matadors led by their ‘Big 3’ — Sydney Benally Sydney Benally 5'9" | PG Sandia | 2025 State NM (16 PPG) Hope Giddings Hope Giddings 5'8" | SG Sandia | 2025 State NM (12 PPG) & Audri Wright (10.5 PPG) — are currently 2-0 and are poised for a great season. New additions Olivia Montano Olivia Montano 5'4" | CG Sandia | 2024 State NM (14 PPG) & Kaiyah Benally (11.5 PPG) have been tremendous thus far, shooting 58% and 60% respectively from deep.

Rio Rancho Rams
Rio Rancho went 3-0 up in Santa Fe and won the ‘Capital City Tournament’. The Rams did an excellent job on defense, holding opponents to just 34 PPG. Rio Rancho has a mix of intriguing players and is a team to watch going forward.

Cibola Cougars
Cibola is on the verge of matching their win total from a year ago — 3 — after winning their first two games of the 2023-24 season! An encouraging sign this early on for the Cougars who have struggled in recent years.

Bloomfield Bobcats
Bloomfield has quietly gotten off to a terrific start, winning their season opener on the road, then proceeding to win the ‘Jerry Richardson Invite’ in Shiprock, N.M.

Proving to be a respectable tandem in 4A, Danilynn Bob Danilynn Bob 5'7" | SF Belen | 2026 State NM (12.3 PPG) & Jaelynn Bob Jaelynn Bob PF Belen | 2025 State NM (10.7 PPG) from Belen, led the Eagles to a ‘in-season’ championship after winning the ‘Hatch Tournament’.

Kirtland Central Broncos
Kirtland Central is putting up an impressive 60.3 PPG thus far showing no signs of slowing down despite the loss of an ‘All-State’ forward who graduated in 2023.
