Do expect us to finish up the remainder of our positional breakdown lists, a full look at the top 10 sophomores position-by-position, but this article will take a look at the top five South Jersey prospects from the Class of 2026.
No. 1: Jahzara Green Jahzara Green 6'1" | PF Gloucester Catholic | 2026 State NJ – PF, Gloucester Catholic (No. 6 overall)
Green is the first of two players from South Jersey ranked inside the top 10, the highest-ranked player from the region on this list, and she’s well-deserving of that. Having already received attention from college programs, she’s certainly made a name for herself thanks to a combination of height and length. Green’s 6-1 frame is perfect at the college level to dominate, and she’s already dominating down low, showcasing the ability to defend and play at the point in either way.
No. 2: Brielle Alaba Brielle Alaba 5'9" | PG Cherokee | 2026 State NJ – PG, Cherokee (No. 9 overall)
Alaba is the second player to be ranked inside the top 10 from New Jersey, and she follows in line with the great tradition of basketball found at Cherokee. When you don’t think that they’ll have a successor on the roster, look again. Alaba is just that, a leader, a playmaker, someone who commands the floor with her presence. She plays with energy and excitement, a great grasp of the game thus far and just an incredible scorer as we’ve seen in the early going this season.
No. 3: Labreya Lewis Labreya Lewis 5'6" | SG Winslow Township | 2026 State NJ – SG, Winslow Township (No. 17 overall)
The highest-ranked shooting guard from South Jersey in the Class of 2026 and a top-20 sophomore prospect, Lewis’s agility and aggression on the defensive end immediately stands out when talking about her overall play. It’s great to see how active she’s been on that side of the ball, constantly trying to cause turnovers, bad passes, anything of the like. It just continues and continues with her, but it’s not just the defense that stands out because she’s equally a great all-around offensive player and scorer.
No. 4: Analyse Intenzo Analyse Intenzo 5'10" | SG Moorestown | 2026 State NJ – SG, Moorestown (No. 18 overall)
From one shooting guard to another, we head to Moorestown sophomore Analyse Intenzo Analyse Intenzo 5'10" | SG Moorestown | 2026 State NJ , honestly one of the best shooters, pound-for-pound, in the Class of 2026. She was knocking down threes at a high clip as a freshman, roughly 1.5 a game, added onto a really solid overall package as a player. Intenzo’s defense speaks for itself, a really strong off-ball and on-ball defender overall. She gets to the foul line plenty and does a great job getting her teammates involved as well. Her court vision and awareness is very impressive at this level.
No. 5: Gabrielle Vaughn Gabrielle Vaughn 5'11" | SF Camden Catholic | 2026 State NJ – SF, Paul VI (No. 31 overall)
The former Camden Catholic product made her move to Haddonfield and Paul VI before this season and what a great pickup that was for the Eagles, already stacked full of talent. She showcased quite the impressive skillset last season, a do-it-all kind of player that can spot up from anywhere offensively and can guard anyone defensively. Impressive rebounding resume and a strong work ethic, Vaughn is destined for even more greatness upcoming and she’ll have a really good team to do it on.
