We do not always get is totally correct, but that is why we have (4) period per year that we make corrections and right some wrongs on our part.
2026, 6’4, C, Corona Centennial HS, Cydnee Bryant Cydnee Bryant 6'4" | C Corona Centennial | 2026 State CA comes into this edition in the Top 10 of the PGH California Rankings.
Cydnee position in this edition of the rankings is well earned, we watched this kid dominate games in the paint and beyond, she is a monster on the glass, has great size and can finish over both shoulders in the paint. She blocks shots like she is swatting flies and is very athletic and agile on the floor an able to run the floor and catch and finish in transition. This kid can play, I know the family traits very well, remember her uncle in high school.
2026, 6’0, PF, Montgomery HS, Paula Zumstein Paula Zumstein 6'0" | PF Montgomery | 2026 State CA comes into this edition in the Top 25 of the PGH California Rankings
Paula deserves her spot, due to how she is putting up major numbers this season, if you check out our story titled ” 2026s in Diego That Can Score“, you will see what we are talking about here and understand why we believe she is Top25 in California right now. As the years pass and this list gets bigger, this kid will continue to strive, she is a bucket-getter and those type of athlets always excel.
2026, 5’11, SF, Los Osos HS, Katelyn Freitas Katelyn Freitas 5'11" | PF Los Osos | 2026 State CA comes into this edition in the Top 30 of the PGH California Rankings
Katelyn is a power forward that has some skill to her game and is an agile athlete on the floor, she can get up and down the floor with ease and finish with the best of them, she is worthy of her spot, cause she brings the old-school fundamentals with her game and is was impressive to watch. We love the short corner shots, the off the glass layups and just plain simple basketball approach that gets results.
2026, 5’11, PF, Los Osos HS, Ivana Nwagbo Ivana Nwagbo 5'11" | PF Los Osos | 2026 State CA comes into this edition in the Top 35 of the PGH California Rankings
Ivana was the enforcer when we saw her play, she is very scrapply and does whatever is needed for her team to win games. She has soft hands and can finish in traffic against contact, getting the hoop and the harm. She deserves her spot, cause she is gonna be a specimen on the floor, her size and athleticism will blossom each and every year she progressess in the game of basketball.
2026, 6’0, SF, Ontario Christian HS, Cori Benjamin Cori Benjamin 6'0" | SF Ontario Christian | 2026 State CA comes into this edition in the Top 40 of the PGH California Rankings
The older of the Benjamin sisters at Ontario Christian, Cori uses her size to her advantage and just punishes the opponent on the floor, she is a shot block master, she gets to balls you do not even expect her to get too on the floor. She deserves her spot cause of the work she does on the boards, she is a rebounding leader in the league and has impeccable timing to block shots, we were impressed with her defensive mindset, she can score to, so do not get it twisted.
2026, 6’1, C, Redondo Union HS, Abby Zimmerman Abby Zimmerman 6'1" | C Redondo Union | 2026 State CA comes into this edition in the Top 45 of the PGH California Rankings
Abby deserves her spot cause of the work she does on the floor as a scoring big with a nice skill set. She has a nice jump shot and can make things happen offensively on the floor for her team. She can block shots with her size as well as run the floor and catch and finish in transition, very soft hands for a big.
2026, 5’10, SF, Marlborough HS, Taylor Ballew Taylor Ballew 5'10" | CG Marlborough | 2026 State CA comes into this edition in the Top 45 of the PGH California Rankings
Taylor is a skilled player that knows how to use her size on the floor, she is agile and athletic and can run the floor and finish at the rim. She can shoot the midrange and she is a decent defender on the floor, she gets loose balls and can get the ball to guards, then get into the lane to finish at the rim. She deserves her spot, cause she is doing whatever possible to get her team to get wins this season.
2026, 5’10, SF, Ontario Christian HS, Savannah Philan Savannah Philan 5'10" | SF Ontario Christian | 2026 State CA comes into this edition in the Top 50 of the PGH California Rankings
Savannah deserves her spot in this edition of the rankings cause she is menace at setting crushing screens on guards, we saw her put some on the opponent with crushing results for them. She is capable of scoring on the block and in the paint with short jumpers, we are very confident she is going to be a mover and a shaker in the rankings from now on,
2026, 6’1, PF, San Clemente HS, Reese Tremper Reese Tremper 6'1" | PF San Clemente | 2026 State CA comes into this edition in the Top 50 of the PGH California Rankings
Reese deserves her spot in this edition of the rankings due to her play on the floor consisting of some down right menacing rebounding in the paint. She is able to score over both shoulders and she can even recognize the double and throw back out to guards for easy shot to be made. She even showed us a step out to the short corner for some easy buckets, but her skill is boarding in the paint.
