Hamilton left a lasting first impression in 2018 when she was in the 3rd grade and her poise on the court combined with her skill set had me drop the #D1Lock on her, I ain’t been wrong yet. She has come back from an injury more powerful and watching her size up defenders to attack the basket or drop the jumper is very nice because she does it smoothly and in the flow however she can flip the switch and take games completely over. Her on the ball defense is solid, so is her court vision
Green was a GAMECHANGER at the PGH Freshman Expo and judging from a few videos coming across X, there is definitely something out there to her game as she just BRINGS IT to the table. She’s strong and uses her power on both ends of the floor, either scoring off the dribble or applying heat on the defensive end. She rebounds, on both ends and can handle the ball afterward but her seeing the floor in transition is nice, so is her stop and pop jumper yet her upside is very nice
Highlights
Borders was another player that grabbed my attention over the holidays and her Spring Creek Mansfield Invitational performance had me smiling. I had a brief conversation with her day and her last name kept ringing a bell so I used the “search bar” and voila. I spoke about a couple of things that stood out when she was in the 6th grade, one being long and athletic as well as her upside and “voila”, she is showing signs of exploding. Her first step is solid, nice body control on her finishes and watching create her shot under pressure and drop it, from mid to long-range is going to cause some problems for defenders
Jordan left a lasting first impression and I knew what was coming because , one more time, I am a REAL EVALUATOR and 3 years ago, I saw what was coming. She’s fearless and like one of my favorite records, Not Afraid as she relishes the challenge of guarding the opposing teams top offensive guard, so her “on the ball” pressure had me smiling. I love her upside as she is showing #sizedontmatter because she can play and her Sandra Meadows Classic performance spoke volumes
