Alvarez has been a star on a Phoenix squad with only six players on the roster, putting up dazzling numbers while leading her small, but mighty team to an impressive 11-7 overall and 2-1 in league so far. She had a very impressive 16-points, 12-rebound, 7-steal double-double in the Pirates’ most recent game against Hidden Valley, and has been doing this all season. In the Christmas Classic holiday tournament they played in, she put up 16 points on four 3’s; 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists; and 14 points, 14 rebounds, and 5 assists in the three games. Clearly, she can do it all, from scoring to passing to being one of the best rebounders in the state.
