Edwards recently became the 2nd All-Time leading scorer in the Palmetto State. Joyce is headed off to the University of South Carolina next year to play for the Lady Gamecocks. Edwards was just too much in the paint today for the Hilton Head Christian squad to handle. Joyce finished with 32 points and 15 rebounds today.
Edwards currently has 3,468 career points and recently passed Allison Feaster (3,427 points). Ivory Latta holds the state record with 4,319 points from 1997-2003 at York Comprehensive.

Highlights
McGowens and her teammates from Wren HS defeated Ridge View HS here today at the MLK Bash. Raina finished with 21 points and 5 rebounds in the win. She was able to knockdown some shot jumpers and while connecting on 7-8 foul shots in the game.
Raina is approaching the 2,000-point club and look for her to get that very soon. She’s headed off to UNC-Asheville next fall to play in the Big South Conference.
Highlights
Gray went over 1,500 career points today in the loss to South Pointe HS. She currently has 1,503 career points as a Lady Falcon. Gray is headed off to Alabama A&M next season to play college ball. She really likes to play her game in attack mode to the cup. Terriana finished with 14 points today in the loss to South Pointe HS.
Randolph patrols the paint for the Lady Hurricanes. Olivia started off her career at Westside HS where she won a few Class 4A State Championships before coming over to Wren HS her junior year. She plays very active in the passing lanes. Olivia was able to step-out away from the bucket today and show a bit of a face-up game. She currently is averaging 7.8 ppg and 9.7 rebounds this season.
Olivia finished with 9 points and 7 rebounds today.
Tamya and her teammates ran into a tall task in Joyce Edwards Joyce Edwards 6’3″ | PF Camden | 2024 State SC and the Camden HS Lady Bulldogs today. Tamya as played 6 years of varsity basketball down in the Lowcountry. She started her career at Estill HS and then went to Hilton Head Christian as a sophomore. Tamya currently has 2,671 career points in her 6-year varsity career.
She really excels in the transition game and leaking out for cheapies in transition. Tamya plays extremely active on both ends of the floor and really shows to have a quick set of hands.
Can she help the Lady Eagles win a 5th straight SCISA State Championship come this February?
Morris was great all day long with her play for the Lady Stallions. Victoria recently joined the 1,000-point club. Victoria plays bigger than her size down in the paint and really does a nice job of rebounding the ball on both ends of the court. She will rundown rebounds outside of her area to boot. Victoria scored 16 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in the win over A.C. Flora HS.
Morris tends to play her best basketball close to the paint area. She plays the game as bit of a TWEENER on the hardwood. Victoria for certain delivers production as she came into the contest averaging 17 ppg and 10.7 rebounds.
Hayes just brings production when she comes to the floor at times. She understands her job and role on this squad. Deyana came up big today with 14 points and 6 rebounds. The left-handed Hayes stays very close to the basket and delivers results. She’s currently averaging a double-double this season at 10.7 ppg and 11.1 rebounds for the Lady Hurricanes.
The Lady Hurricanes could make a solid run again this season in Class 3A in the Upstate. Raina McGowens, Olivia Randolph and Hayes all Seniors will look to have one last crack at it come this February and March if all possible.
