Nooksack Valley HS: 18-1 – Devin Coppinger Devin Coppinger 5'10" | CG Nooksack Valley | 2024 State WA is one of the best players in the entire state of Washington. She is smooth with the ball and leads her team in every aspect a leader should. Tana Hoekema Tana Hoekema 5'10" | SF Nooksack Valley | 2024 State WA and Lainey Kimball Lainey Kimball SF Nooksack | 2024 State WA are two other seniors who have big roles and contributing crucial plays. They haven’t been challenged by many other than Archbishop Murphy but, that was also the beginning of the season. The Pioneers have beaten Union, Lynden Christian, Lynden and Mead. They will again make a deep run.
Wapato HS: 16-1 – This Wapato team is mostly seniors with a few young freshman/underclass man who all play together well. Jordan Espinoza Jordan Espinoza 5'5" | CG Wapato | 2024 State WA is the leader behind the team and she knows how to put the ball in the bucket. She plays hard every possession on both sides of the court and finds her teammates offensively to get them going. Wapato has a loss against Prosser but many impressive non league wins like Davis, Moses Lake, and Cashmere. They are ready for the state tournament.
Deer Park HS: 19-0 – Deer Park is the lone undefeated team in the 1A class and have done so with no seniors on the roster. They are going to be a mostly all returning team next year, meaning they aren’t going anywhere. Deer Park has been easily too, often handling teams with ease and holding them to under 20 points for the entire game.
Other Teams: Lynden Christian HS, Lakeside (9 MIle) Falls HS, Bellevue Christian HS
