Sneed takes me back to watching the potential she showed in the 6th grade to becoming what she is today. Yeah, I dropped the D1 Lock on her for a number of reasons back then and it’s simple for me to see things like this because one more time, I’m a REAL EVALUATOR. Her doing things instinctively as well as how she reacted in certain situations was part of it, so was her skill set and fast forward to watching her not only take games over scoring from mid to long-range as well as off the dribble has been a treat
Tambe was another player I knew would have D1 in her future and it was sort of accidental because her then club coach had sent me a list of players to observe on his team, yet she wasn’t one of them however one more time, I’m another SC that sees everything, it didn’t take me long to realize she was “THE GIRL”. She can play both the 1 and the 2 effectively, she understands how to control the tempo and her court vision in the set as well as in transition is among the best in the state but her mid to long-range shooting is more than solid

Parr caught my eye many years ago however her then club coach used to give erroneous or no rosters so for a few years, I had her confused with someone else. That changed as she entered high school and her blazing speed coupled with her acrobatic finishes JUST DID IT for me, well so did a her stop and pop jumper but here’s what I saw at the Sandra Meadows Classic
McGrew was so far ahead of players when I first saw her, I mean she already had the college ready body in the 7th grade, she was strong and athletic, plus she simply overpowered players off the dribble. She scored from mid to long-range, even the stop and pop in transition yet she had a legitimate jumper even back then. She rebounded, on both ends, scored on putbacks yet she also could go coast to coast and her blistering passes in transition, in traffic sold me and got her the #D1Lock
Lewis was probably in the 5th grade when I dropped the #D1Lock and her ability at that stage was something else. I haven’t moved her because she is tough and a competitor and her ability to come back after injuries and still be relative speaks volumes about the type of player and person she is. She’s making another comeback after ACL and meniscus injury and I can’t wait to see her back on the court dropping the jumper, mid to long range, as well as setting her teammates up for gimmes

Wilson just finds ways to separate herself and falls into that Tip Sheet waiting to happen. She’s one of the reasons her Mansfield Timberview squad is positioning themselves for a very deep run and one of the favorites to win it all see evaluation here from the Spring Creek Mansfield Invitational
Houston was last seen LIVE by me last club season at the Neville Jones Invitational yet it only takes me a few minutes to know what I’m looking at and she sold me years ago. She’s one of those players that can get hers “in the flow” while running the offense and controlling the tempo however she can flip the switch at the blink of an eye and simply take over games offensively. Her ability to not only set the defender up but elevate and drop the jumper from mid to long range, with a hand in her face is very nice, so is her attacking and finishing with either hand, after contact
