The focal point to beat Batavia is to stop their guards, but Kylee who has the size to be effective in both the guard and forward spot will cause some problems for their opponent Monday night. Gehrt’s size and ability to score without the ball will be a hard guard. She cuts with purpose and can time it correctly.

The toughest defenders in the state have had problems with Kiyocko, and it’s not hard to understand. The handles are solid, the speed is unmatched and the means to stay poised though the physicality says something else as well. She can stretch the floor, or attack the rim with the same amount of impact, if not more. This team has talent from top to bottom, and Proctor will be at the top of scouting list.

Though Nazareths zone will be hard to break, the amount of pressure that Murphy’s speed can put on a defense, might cause some problems for Naz. There’s not an angle that she can’t attack, or a shot that she can’t get off. Her ability to get to the rim with her size will be something to keep an eye on.
Lavorato simply stuffs the stat sheet each game. She’s a complete player who can be impactful from many roles. She can lead the game in scoring, or have a day with double digit assists. She plays the game with an extremely high IQ and can be productive on both sides of the floor.

With the starters having to put in effort on the defensive side of the ball, the offense might take a hit and that’s where Spanos will be able to be an additional threat. From the outside, Spanos is one of Montini’s best shooters. She has a set release and has no fear of letting it loose. It wouldn’t surprise me if Monday night was one of those games where she makes 3+ from behind the arc.
