Eubanks is a big time addition to the list of star athletes. She comes in at #100 and is a very legitimate college level talent. Eubanks is a centerpiece on an East Kentwood team that could make a run to the Breslin Center this year. She’s powerful and explosive off the wing and has shown blow by speed with the ball. Eubanks is a 2 way player that can play fast on D and create chaos.
DiMaria is a talented post player that certainly deserves to see her name on the prospect list. She’s turned herself into a constant double-double threat in points and rebounds. DiMaria has strong hands off the rebound, but can have soft hands with touch on the offensive end of the floor. She’s a post player that can get up and down the floor as well.
Somers has developed her game really nicely and is key on a talented young Lawton team. She was coming off a really nice summer with Macon 6 Basketball Academy and that play has continued into the season. Somers is a talented post defender that will challenge and block shots. She’s consistent on the glass and willing to do the little things that turn into wins.
Fredericks is a name that I’m glad to finally see in the rankings. She would have had a legitimate argument to have been here before. Fredericks is in her 3rd year of varsity basketball. She’s a veteran presence on an elite Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard team that has legitimate state title aspirations. Fredericks brings a ton of energy and grit to the floor and can pick her team up with it if needed.
Crow is a skilled perimeter player that belongs in the list of ranked prospects. She can hit a 3 with even the smallest amount of time, getting it up with quickness and confidence. Crow can bury a jumper off the catch and shoot, but can also put it on the floor and create scoring opportunities. She’s a solid in your face defender as well.
