From posting season-highs to having career years, they have made a major impact on their respective teams and have not been talked about nearly enough by sports media across New Jersey!
Kieran Brewster Kieran Brewster 5'7" | SG Holy Spirit | 2025 State NJ | Holy Spirit
Kieran is having her best season to date, setting a career-high in rebounds (9 against Glassboro), assists (4 against Camden Catholic & Atlantic City) and tying a career-high in points (14 against Camden) and blocks (2 against Camden Catholic). Her toughness and level of physicality has been very impressive as she embraces contact and plays each game with a totally fearless demeanor; TOUGH AS NAILS and that’s something you just can’t teach! Through 22 games so far this season, she is averaging 5.5 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 1.4 apg & 1.7 spg. She has been Holy Spirit’s do-it-all X-FACTOR who tenacity and efficiency has helped them gut out a close 52-51 win over Absegami (13 points) and memorable 59-54 win over Manchester Township (9 points, 4 rebounds).
Zoe Boston Zoe Boston 6'1" | SF Roselle | 2024 State NJ | Roselle
This 6’1″ BEAST is averaging a monster double-double this season and has barely made any headlines across New Jersey! UNACCEPTABLE!! Zoe is strong, savvy and highly efficient in the paint. She eclipsed 1,000 career points in early January and tied career-highs in points (30 points against Brearley) and rebounds (18 against Linden) and set a career-high in blocks (9 against Linden). She possesses strong hands with a soft touch around the rim and is a fierce rim protector. Through 16 games played, Zoe is putting up averages of 24.2 ppg, 11.4 rpg, 1.8 apg, 3.4 bpg & 1.9 spg. It’s this extreme efficiency on both sides of the ball that has helped her team achieve a 9-2 conference record.
Sophie Tonino Sophie Tonino 5'6" | SG Freehold Township | 2025 State NJ | Freehold Twp
Sophie has seen upped production in rebounds, assists and steals in her junior season while averaging 10 points per game through 18 contests so far. The 5’6″ scrappy guard has knocked down shots from long distance, buried mid-range jumpers and attacked the rim with confidence to rank third on her team in scoring, second in 3-pointers and first in free throw makes. She has more than tripled her total rebounds from last season and quadrupled her total steals. A season-high 23 points helped Freehold Township claim the 51-38 victory over Lacey just days ago. Sophie has locked down on defense and at nearly 3 steals per game, has proven to be much more than just a scorer. Sophie is well on her way to scoring her 1,000th career point during next season’s senior campaign!
Jamaiya McLeod | Bound Brook
Jamaiya is a big reason why the Crusaders have twice as many wins as losses so far (12-6) as she leads them in scoring, blocks and steals. She’s unloaded the clip on opponents, averaging just over 13 points per game and recorded her first-ever triple-double against South Hunterdon in late January (32 points, 12 rebounds, 10 steals). At just 5’7″, she has proven to be furious on the glass going up against much taller foes, pulling down just over 6 rebounds per game. She gets after it on both ends and is the type of workhorse player any coach would want on their team! To go along with 13.3 ppg and 6.2 rpg, Jamaiya is posting 3.5 spg, 1.2 bpg and 2 apg.
Brenae Jones Brenae Jones 6'1" | C Montclair Immaculate | 2024 State NJ | Montclair Immaculate
For a 19-4 team who plays arguably the most difficult schedule in the state, Brenae’s production has been HUGE and not talked about nearly enough! She has seven double-doubles thus far and season-highs of 24 points against Newark Academy, 16 rebounds against national power Legacy Early College (SC), 7 blocks against West Orange and 7 steals against Caldwell. In an impressive win against nationally ranked Desert Vista (AZ), she tallied 7 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, dished out 3 assists and blocked 1 shot. Brenae is a fierce competitor with a never-say-die attitude who leads her team in stolen and blocked shots and ranks second in scoring and rebounding. She is averaging 10.7 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 1.5 apg, 1.9 bpg and 3 spg while her stock continues to soar.
