We’ll always be trying to do our best here with that, and this article will discuss some of the best performances from the first round of the Burlington County Tournament as well as the South Jersey Invitational Basketball Tournament.
Madelyn Szafran – Northern Burlington (2026)
Friday was as much of a statement win as ever for Northern Burlington, who has been on a tear over the past few weeks. Its winning streak reached eight-straight games with a 20-point win over Pemberton, and Szafran once again was fantastic down low, finishing with 12 points, eight rebounds, a steal and a block. This eight-game stretched has turned her season around, averaging 11.8 PPG and 12.3 RPG during it.
Qui-Mia Wilkins Qui-Mia Wilkins 5'7" | SF Pemberton | 2025 State NJ – Pemberton (2025)
The performances stack up for Wilkins, game after game as she’s carried the success of Pemberton on her back. While Friday ended up as a loss, her 18 points extended her double-digit scoring streak to 19 games on the season. She’s scored at least 18 points in 11 of her last 12 games and is now averaging 19.3 PPG this season for the Hornets.
Kiyanna Blacks-Stewart Kiyanna Blacks-Stewart 6'0" | PF Camden Catholic | 2025 State NJ – Paul VI (2025)
Blacks-Stewart had her best performance by far with Paul VI, recording a season-high 21 points in a blowout win in the SJIBT semifinals over Cinnaminson. She was the lone player for the Eagles to finish in double-figures and dominated down low unlike anyone else on the floor. Big-time game in the semis and a breakout performance for her with Paul VI.
Azanah Campbell Azanah Campbell 5'9" | SF Paul VI | 2025 State NJ – Paul VI (2025)
On the surface, Campbell’s stats against Cinnaminson don’t necessarily jump off the page, but what she provided on Friday was consistency in every facet of her game. She finished with six points, five rebounds, three assists, a block and two steals, tied for the team lead in assists, blocks and steals on the day. It was a gritty, but complete performance that got the job done.
Analyse Intenzo Analyse Intenzo 5'10" | SG Moorestown | 2026 State NJ – Moorestown (2026)
It was Moorestown’s day on Friday, taking down a talented Cherokee team to reach the SJIBT final. Intenzo played a massive role in the 16-point win, knocking down a pair of threes as she finished with 13 points, eight rebounds and three assists. The three-ball was working for the Quakers, hitting eight in the win, and Intenzo made sure to contribute to that total.

Rima Takla Rima Takla PG Moorestown | 2025 State NJ is putting her name on the map in South Jersey, and Friday’s performance against Cherokee furthered that charge.
