I do believe both teams are worthy of this title game and I applaud them for hanging in there and working hard for their teams to get to this point in their season, congrats to both programs.
2027, 5’9, SF, Palos Verdes HS, Quinn Tamashiro Quinn Tamashiro 5'9" | SF Palos Verdes | 2027 State CA
Quinn is the marksman of the bunch on this team, she is shooting the three ball at a 100% in the first half of the game. She also has a driving basket I believe early in the game, this kid is wating to knock down the long ball off a nice pass from either Farnsworth or Golden. She run the team for her coach without a hitch and she is not afraid to sit down and play some defense for her team as well.
2027, 5’1, PG, Palos Verdes HS, Katie Golden Katie Golden 5'7" | CG Palos Verdes | 2027 State CA
Young point guard that is learning the game and making a good solid run at it, she is not a typical scorer, she is a facilitator and she is doing so for her team with good passing and movement of the ball. She has 1 point in the game, but has 4 rebounds and 4 assists, now I see that as a true point guard, cause she has a teammate that is scoring pretty well and has 20+ in the first half.
2026, 5’9, CG, Palos Verdes HS, Madeline Farnsworth Madeline Farnsworth 5'9" | CG Palos Verdes | 2026 State CA
Madeline is a player, she was able to get to the rim, she could knock down the midrange shot and she was good from the three point line. She is the teams lead guard and plays with a lot of poise and confidence, she is definitely one of the toughest on her team. She has about 22 points in the first half and I beleive she will end this game with 30+, she is that type of player in my opinion.
2024, 5’10, CG, Eastside HS, Aprill Medrano
Aprill is a player in our opinion, she did her best to try and help her team be victorious in this final, but an appearance all worth it on your season and it is not over, they will advance to the Regional Playoffs next week. She knocked down a three or two, but was able to manage the game for her team at the PG spot, she has a decent handle, needs a little work, but was able to make some things happen on the floor.
2024, 6’0, PF, Eastside HS, Neila Marshall Neila Marshall 6'0" | CG Eastside | 2024 State CA
Neila is an athletic specimen and knows how to take advantage of this gift on the floor, she can run the floor like a gazelle and has soft hands to catch and finish in transition. She is strong, quick and long as can be with her size, she scores by blowing by her opponents and making easy bank shots off the glass. She has a future in the game, she just needs to pick the right school that will help her flourish in her own game.
2026, 5’11, SF, Eastside HS, Adriana Milton Adriana Milton 5'11" | SF Eastside | 2026 State CA
Adriana is a young forward that has good size and a knack for rebounding the ball from what we saw on the floor. She is crucial to the team cause of the service in the paint she provides, rebounding, block shots and some easy scores at the rim. She will continue to improve as she plays this game, we expect to add her to the rankings edition coming up after this season is over. She will be a force in a couple of more years, she will improve, we truly believe.
