Monsignor Scanlan vs The Mary Louis Academy
After a close encounter between these two in their previous meeting, TMLA will look to avenge that defeat. The performance of the guards in this game will be crucial in deciding the final result once again.
Scanlan
Scanlan is recognized as one of the city’s top teams and has been steadily ascending since the beginning of their season. Despite a home loss to Christ the King, the Crusaders maintain their status as strong contenders for the championship title. Leading the charge are Madison Howard Madison Howard 5'6" | PG Monsignor Scanlan | 2026 State NY , Diamond Fields Diamond Fields 5'7" | CG Monsignor Scanlon | 2025 State NY , and Alyssa Febres Alyssa Febres 5'7" | CG Saunders | 2024 NY . Howard is known for her ability to excel with her assertive style of play. Febres serves as the primary playmaker for the team, efficiently distributing the ball and creating scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates. Fields and Joei Toledo contribute to the team’s offensive arsenal with their adept shooting skills, aiming to create space on the court and capitalize on scoring chances.

Within their lineup, they boast several players who can disrupt their opponents’ gameplan. Junior guards Justine Henry and Arielle Barnes stand out as exceptional athletes. Makylah Moore Makylah Moore 5'10" | SF South Shore | 2024 State NY ‘25 is a tremendous athlete who utilizes her size to her advantage. She is a composed player who can score on all three levels. She is capable of taking over the game with her shot-making ability.

McClancy’s top trio presents an ideal match-up against Nazareth. Daniella Velez Daniella Velez 5'5" | CG Monsignor McClancy | 2024 State NY ’24, Synina Barton ’25, and Isabella Kyriakopoulos ’24 all possess scoring prowess, each having showcased their ability to lead their team to victory throughout the season. Barton, a 5’8 guard, exhibits a fearless shooting attitude and also demonstrates proficiency in rebounding, having secured double-doubles on numerous occasions. Velez displays versatility across the board, recognized as one of CHSAA’s most versatile. She excels in facilitating offensive setups – a requirement for every point guard. Kyriakopoulos, consistently reaching double figures, stands out as a dependable player, warranting vigilant marking from Nazareth’s defense at all times.
Christ the King vs Holy Cross

Christ the King recently secured a victory against Albert Magnus at The Mecca Show, led by Olivia Vukosa Olivia Vukosa 6'3" | C Christ the King | 2026 State NY ‘s standout performance, which propelled the Lady Royals to a 46-44 triumph.
