Jai-Lyn Garvin-Martin – Central (2025)
The three-point line was a hot spot for Garvin-Martin on Tuesday, knocking down four three-pointers in an emphatic win over Westfield. She finished with 18 points, a scoring line that’s progressively become more common for her, a great sign moving forward. Really impressed with her quarterfinal performance, especially the consistent three-point shooting that’s been a massive benefit for her this season.
Alexus Sanchez – Westfield (2024)
Tuesday was far from the performance that Westfield wanted to put on in an upset bid of top-seeded Central, but in the wake of what was a 26-point loss, senior Alexus Sanchez had a quality performance on the floor. She scored 11 points, her 15th game this season scoring in double-figures as she’s easily averaging a career-high in scoring thus far, sitting at 14.4 PPG.
Taryn Carriveau Taryn Carriveau 5'6" | CG Chicopee Comp | 2025 State New E – Chicopee Comp (2025)
Monday was Chicopee Comp’s day to shine on the court, putting together a masterful upset win over No. 4 seeded Longmeadow. Junior standout Taryn Carriveau Taryn Carriveau 5'6" | CG Chicopee Comp | 2025 State New E was the catalyst of that upset bid, tying a career-high with 30 points scored in the 58-52 win. She’s been just lights-out in all aspects of her game this season, but to be averaging close to 20 points a game with the improvements she’s shown makes her that much more impressive.
Madalyn Torres – Longmeadow (2027)
There is no better time to have a great first impression than in your freshman season. That’s exactly what Madalyn Torres did on Monday, easily her breakout performance of the season against Chicopee Comp. She finished with 14 points, knocking down a career-high 3 three-pointers in the process. Those 14 points were also a career-high, her first high school game in double-figures at that.
Kiara Perez – Holyoke (2026)
The youngsters in this region of Massachusetts have really shown their worth on the floor, players like Kiara Perez, who despite coming up short against Minnechaug on Monday, knocked down 13 points along with 3 three-pointers. She’s been a revelation as a sophomore, really turning the corner as an offensive threat with career-bests across the board.
Ava Azzaro – Northampton (2024)
Northampton cruised to a quarterfinal win over Agawam on Monday, and it had production in a number of places, balanced production at that from the frontcourt to the backcourt. In the frontcourt, it was Ava Azzaro getting after it, finishing with a game-high 19 points. She got to the foul line early and often in this game, playing to her strengths as she dominated on the night.
Bri Heafley – Northampton (2025)
As the frontcourt pieces were going crazy for Northampton, the guard play was solid overall. There was plenty of spreading the wealth as three players knocked down a pair of three-pointers, but junior Bri Heafley carried the freight for sure, finishing with 16 points as she had her eighth game with multiple made threes overall, scoring 10+ points in seven of those eight contests.
