Brenna emerged onto the scene with her electrifying style of play. As a guard for Russellville, she made a substantial contribution to her team’s achievements this year. Brenna’s performance suggests she could very well be the most proficient scoring point guard in the class of 2024. Her talents earned her recognition as a member of the 5A West All-Conference, All-State, and All-State Tournament Team.
Brooklyn Woosley Brooklyn Woosley 5'7" | CG Greenwood | 2024 State AR | Combo Guard | Greenwood | 2024
The combo guard, committed to Henderson State, is undeniably among the elite players in Arkansas. Her capacity to stretch defenses with her shooting ability and aggressive approach off the dribble posed a formidable challenge for any defender. With her high basketball IQ, combined with her versatile skill set and defensive tenacity, it was an obvious choice to include her on the list.
Charnelle Hoof Charnelle Hoof 6'0" | SF Forrest City | 2024 State AR | Wing | Forrest City | 2024
Charnelle’s addition to the rankings came as one of the most unexpected surprises. Although I had come across posts about Charnelle on social media, it wasn’t until this year that I had the chance to witness her play firsthand. She proves to be a versatile wing player, adept at fulfilling various roles on both offense and defense. Her defensive capabilities allow her to effectively guard positions 1 through 4, and even some post players. On the offensive end, I admire her size, length, and assertive playing style, as well as her knack for making impactful plays.
Madison Hatley Madison Hatley 6'0" | C North Little Rock | 2024 State AR | Post | North Little Rock | 2024
Madison proved to be the X-factor for North Little Rock this year. While the team’s strengths were evident in the guard and wing positions, Madison exceeded expectations with her contributions. Her performance in the post was exceptional, ranking among the best not only in the 6A division but statewide as well. With her scoring around the basket, rebounding, and defensive assistance, she propelled North Little Rock to the cusp of another appearance in the state title game.
Johnna Brockman Johnna Brockman 5'11" | C Morrilton | 2024 State AR | Post | Morrilton | 2024
Having watched Johnna play on numerous occasions over the past couple of years, I’ve consistently witnessed her progression. She transitioned from primarily being a rebounder and defender to becoming a formidable post player with a scoring threat in the paint. Her resilience and toughness shone through this year as she played a crucial role in leading her Morrilton team on a state tournament journey that culminated in a appearance in the state title game.
