Makayla McCowan
Makayla McCowan
McCowan is a long and athletic guard, that’s also the base and she immediately grabbed my attention with her “on the ball” defense, baseline to baseline. She has quick hands, that got her some steals but so did playing the passing lane , which I love to see but she an explosive first step to get to the basket, nice body control on her finshes and her court vision was solid, so was her pull-up jumper
Noelle Roudreiw
Noelle Roudreiw
Roudre falls into that #sizedontmatter hashtag I dropped over a decade ago because she can play. Let me start with she’s “heady” and comprehending the game is a big part of it yet she also did a good job of handling the ball and seeing the floor under pressure. She set the defender up nicely with a deceptive first step, plus she played solid defense

Striker is also in that “long and athletic” category and when you factor in her class and upside, her potential is pretty intriguing. She played the passing lane, she did a good job defending both in and outside the paint and she hit the boards but just as impressively, she showed she could handle the ball after rebounding
Amaya Waddy
Amaya Waddy
Waddy filled it up multiple ways and watching her show “hands and footwork” to score against taller players took me back because that’s #THROWBACK. Well she also threw some shots back yet she drooped the mic when she did a spin move in traffic to score, her attacking the basket relentlessly was nice, she also rebounded the same way and let me also add she played the passing lane

Player has a cousin that was one of the top PG’s to come out of the area and her club coach is one of the shooter/scorers I had a chance to see up close and personal so what about the freshman? Well, she ain’t no ordinary freshman, she’s poised and stays under control, she too is long and athletic with very nice timing to block, alter and deflect shots but peep this. She goes coast to coast after rebounding to score, she scores off the dribble and can drop the jumper but her court vision and rebounding are both solid

Harmon is not a NEW FACE, she will be added to the 2027 Watchlist on the next update but that’s no surprise since I dropped #D1Lock on her heading to the 6th grade. She needs to be picked up before halfcourt because if you give her too much spacing, you can almost forget about it. She’s explosive off the dribble, her acrobatic finishes are ahead of her years and yes, after contact but she also has very good court vision and can thread the needle from 20 feet away. Her jumper, mid to long range is solid, so is her defense
