Peyton Guay Peyton Guay 5'8" | CG West Rutland | 2025 State NewE , 5’8 G – West Rutland School Class of 2025
Peyton continues to climb as an exceptionally polished player. Guay’s work as the lead guard and playmaker has WRS atop D4 once again, using her 3-level scoring and savvy court awareness to dice defenses up whether she’s playmaking off the bounce, flying off screens, or cutting. A smart defensive player too out of the fullcourt press or in the halfcourt, Guay provides a little of everything and is poised to break 2,000 points next year. Someone who understands the game and what it takes to lead.
Sophia Rockwood Sophia Rockwood 5'7" | CG Windsor | 2025 State NewE , 5’8 G – Windsor H.S. Class of 2025
An offensive generator, Rockwood’s offensive creation is key to making Windsor go. Sophia’s multi-level scoring forces defenses to press up and rotate quickly behind when she drives. From there Rockwood can read the floor pretty well and make plays. A good fullcourt defender too, Sophia moves well, anticipates, and creates plenty of transition O with teammates. Skilled, smart, and about winning.
Audrey Rupp Audrey Rupp 5'5" | CG Windsor | 2025 State NewE , 5’7 G – Windsor H.S. Class of 2025
Talk about a player who impacts every single play. Audrey’s often charged with guarding the best perimeter player and she does so with zest. Rupp moves her feet well, seems to understand player tendencies, and forces plenty of tough decisions with her ball pressure and shot challenges. Offensively there’s no let up. Rupp is connective as a distributor, shoots the ball well, and knows how to puncture the 2nd layer and finish plays. Two-way stuff from Rupp.
Abby Nystrom, 5’6 G – Bellows Falls Union H.S. Class of 2027
Okay, now we’re getting to the next gen of small school studs. The 2027 has stepped right in and is making Bellows Falls go. Abby’s shown she’s a good shooter off the bounce and can hit the trey in various ways. Plus, she gets to the rim often, especially in the open court. Her distributing/playmaking for other continues to develop, as does her defensive prowess. She’s going to be a two-way problem for a long time.
Kelsie Rivard, 5’10 W – Hazen Union H.S. Class of 2027
You have to love players who’ll serve the team in countless ways. Rivard is that type. She’s a versatile defender, capable of defending 2-5 and can switch onto anyone. With that comes a lot of rebounding, tracking of loose balls, and her athleticism makes her a disruptive perimeter defender too. Add in her offensive ability as a shooter off the catch + slasher, smart cutter + screener, and her connective passing, and it’s just all-around game. So tough.
