Kayla Thomas
Kayla Thomas
Thomas is beginning to like a “tip sheet waiting to happen” player as she just gave me a lot to evaluate at the #SimmieColsonClassic a few weeks ago. What she did a was prove I wasn’t looking at a mirage, her defense is even better than my initial sighting yet what I really enjoyed was her composure and handling the ball under pressure to either attack and score, or dish. A big plus was her playing the passing lane
Payton Watson
Payton Watson
Watson was long and athletic yet as her club director shot me another assist, let me add she’s on the verge of being ULTRA athletic, it’s not a lot of that going around. I was impressed with her grabbing rebounds on both ends yet going coast to coast and hitting teammates in the open court from 20 plus feet was solid, so was her attacking the basket and showing the EURO. Solid defender, good upside
Aisha Shetty
Aisha Shetty
Shetty is somewhat of a prototype point guard that comprehends the game, aka heady, plays within herself, aka doesn’t try and overdue things out of the ordinary, and understands how to control the tempo and get her teammates involved, She saw the floor well and made good decisions on who to get the ball to in the set, as well as in transition, plus she showed knocked down jumpers with a hand in her face
Barrett was one of the “can’t miss players” for me on last years PGH Circuit and I don’t even have to take notes because I already know what’s coming. ‘What’s that’ asked the novice, well it’s SIMple, she is somewhat of a “nightmare to defend”. She’s explosive off the dribble, she’s strong and contact is irrelevant yet she can drain the jumper with a hand in her face. She also has solid court vision and plays “on the ball” defense
Jade Williams
Jade Williams
Williams is a long and athletic guard, that too is the base, and her smoothness handling the ball under pressure just grabbed me initially because her ability to change directions going full speed in the open court is very nice, so are finishes which at times are acrobatic and after contact. She creates her shot and elevates to drop it, while being defended and her court vision and defense are both solid

Willow Hubbard Willow Hubbard 5'6" Lone Oak | 2027 TX
Hubbard has plenty of skills in the cupboard and one thing that is very important is that she’s an athletic guard that uses her athleticism on both ends. Her speed with the ball is a huge plus because she stays under control and has that extra gear, aka turbo, that can leave defenders standing but her court vision was solid, so were her finishes off the dribble. She did a good job defending “on the ball” and has good upside
Nailah Davis
Nailah Davis
Davis impressed me with her court vision, in the set, off the dribble as well as in the open court but she also showed she could score attacking the basket using a deceptive first step, with either hand. Her body control helped her finish strongly, even after the lick but she also did a good job applying heat on the defensive end and her “on the ball” pressure baseline was really nice
